Arrival Story:
Her mom was a stray who went into heat before I could get her spayed (she was very low weight and frail; the vet didn't know exactly how old she was). When a friend came to visit, she snuck out the front door...well, you know the rest. So, when Mommy Kitty went into labor, she climbed up on my lap and out popped Lousy Rotten...When it came time to give the kittens away, there was no way I could let her go. P.S. Mommy Kitty was spayed as soon as she was done nursing; LR was spayed at just before six months.

Bio:
Lousy Rotten EARNED her name. She was one of three kittens, so I called them Mo, Larry and Curly. Well, she kept getting in trouble...so we started calling her Mo Rotten. Finally, after a few months, we just gave up and called her Lousy Rotten. Why? She always bossed her mom around. Until her mom passed on, she did very little of her own grooming. She hogged all the cat food; sometimes I had to take her mom into a separate room to make sure she got dinner! She always wanted all the attention (still does!). One of her favorite hobbies is to stand in the doorway of the room where Ascii, our pug, has her water, bed and piddle pads. She won't let her go by. Or she will reach down from a chair and bop poor Ascii on the head. We love her dearly, though..she can be very sweet. She has the best rumbly purr, and on cold nights will wrap around my head and purr me to sleep.

Cats RULE, Pugs DROOL

Rainbow Bridge

My mom is sad. On Friday, March 24th, I had my last vet visit. I was diagnosed with lymphoma on Tuesday, and since I was an elderly lady, who had led a full and happy life, my caretakers and vets decided it was best to let me go to the Bridge.

I wasn't in any pain, and my Mommy held me while I was put to sleep. I will wait for her with all my kitty and puppy friends.

Hi, my name is Lousy Rotten. I am, as all cats, NUMERO UNO in my house. The pug is NUMERO ZERO. Hey, I was here first. I am older, wiser, prettier, and smarter. So, the pug is nicer. What's nice get you? A smack on the nose, that's what.

My human is pretty cool, except she won't let me torment the pug. I mean, I', just having a little fun with Ascii, like keeping her away from her piddle pad, so she does a puggy dance, and she's all about "Don't tease poor Ascii. She's a good girl". I mean, for real, she's a DOG, for crying out loud.

So, nice meeting you all. Let's keep up the good work, keeping PUGS in their PLACES and mice in our food bowls.
