indoors and outdoors Arrival Story: Nickels and his brother, Rascal, were a birthday present from my sister. It was shortly after I went to Vegas for the ACM awards and so we named them after two artists who won that year, Joe Nichols and Rascal Flatts. Bio: The pound told my sister Nickels was a female cat and it took 2 trips to the vet before we realized he was male. Confused everybody for awhile.
NEWS: 3/9/09 --Nickels was just diagnosed with a possible meningioma or stroke that has left his left side partially paralyzed and his left eye blind. We are probably going to treat him with steroids. So keep him in your thoughts, please.
Update--3/15/09 Nickels was unable to walk last night so today we brought him to the vet so he could find peace again. This all happened so fast. He was fine just 2 weeks ago and his neurological symptoms just got worse and worse. We'll miss you Nickels. Have fun at the bridge with Smoochie and Rascal. LOVE YA, Baby!!
