Arrival Story:
I was a very small kitty when I heard the stories about this human who loved kitties and would give them a very good home if they were lucky enough to find their way to her. From that day on I dreamed of living in this place. What would I have to do to get there. The cats who told me this story, didn't know. Some said this place was a myth, others said it was just a matter of fate. Well I was determined to find out. The first part of journey landed me with a human who put a blue collar on me with a little bell. I didn't like this....too constricting. In fact I didn't like living with this human at all...I had a tummy ache all the time and they wouldn't do anything about it. So I escaped.....into a big world.....uh oh.....what will I do now? Stairs going up......where do these lead? So I climbed...and climbed....and climbed.....stretching my little kitty body up and up to the next stair. As I was climbing, I spied another cat lounging within the confines of a screened in porch. She was beautiful...grey, gold, and brown flowing fur. She opened an eye and asked.....what adventure has brought you here little one...don't you know it is unsafe for you to be outside alone? I told her the tales of the "Special" place and how I was traveling to get there. I asked the cat if she had heard the stories. "Oh yes" she replied, "many a kitty has journeyed to find this special place with only a very few finally finding it. If you continue on your journey and have enough hope in your little kitty heart you may be lucky enough to find your haven". With that the beautiful kitty went back to her nap, on her soft chair, in the warm summer sun. At that moment a door opened and a human came out. She spied me...oh no....I must hide. My little kitty legs won't carry me fast enough......she has snatched me up. NNNNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!! Wait.....I sense something.....the human carried me into her home, gently craddling me, and softly whispering into my ear "it's ok...you are safe". The world inside was heaven; other kitties, I smelled food, there were soft places and toys! The beautiful cat who was napping on the porch slowly weaved her way to the feet of the human, stopped and looked up at me with very kind and gentle eyes. With a smile Gazi said "I see you had great hope in your heart my little one.....you have found your way......this is the "Special" place.....you are home"! With that Cabos & Joppees looked up and said "OH NO.....NOT ANOTHER ONE!"

Bio:
Since that day, I've pretty much been the new kit on the block (until my KooBee came of course). My doctor took care of my stomach infection and I had to be on medicine and special food for a while. Cabos hated that cause he couldn't have his treats fo. The human was pretty adament about all of us being treated the same. I tend to get a lot of mats in my fur & I puke up hair balls occasionally, but only in the direct path of the humans line of traffic. The human brushes us all to try to keep this down....she hates those little surprises. Me and Gwazi have become great friends...in fact she took me under wing and taught me the ins and outs of being a cat. Some of Joppees' bad habits have rubbed off, but I try to make sure he gets blamed for all the unfortunate incidents that occur. I'll never forget the day he flew off the porch...it was a long way down. The human thought is was him who had opened up the corner of the screen...guess again! We sat up on the porch all that day teasing him....."Oh Joppees look...we are having treats....guess you can't reach em from there!" Flying cats...go figure. That was the last time! Luckliy he was OK...the human found him cowering in the bushes by the stairs. Big Cat...yeah right! Over time I've become quite proficient in operating the computer and I love surfing the net. I sent an e-mail to the human at work one day to let her know the inventory was getting low and I heard she fainted...guess that kind of freaked her out a little bit. Guess I won't do that anymore. I got the humans credit card memorized and we get some pretty cool stuff from UPS. The UPS guy loves cats you see so he allows me executive rights to place my paw print as a means of signature for the packages. You should see the reaction when the human comes home!! My life totally changed when KooBee came....she is my very special angel. My job is to aclamate her to life as a pampered feline. KooBee was a very frightened and wild kitty when she came to the "Special" place. She is coming along, however not fast enough from the humans perspective. My work is cut out for me!! In the meantime I very much enjoy my existance here....we got it all....but we could definately have more!
