Our beloved Chloe died, and Hobbes, who had been raised by Chloe, was beside himself with grief. So, we had to bring home a new kitten for him before we were really ready ourselves. As soon as Dahlia poked her little kitten head out of the box we brought her home in, Hobbes gave her a good bath, and they've been best friends ever since.
