This Year is Coming to an End

And a LONG year it has been!

On Dec 23rd 2010 we found Grand Dad had passed during his afternoon nap.

Paw Paw went into the hospital on Dec 29th and really never snapped back.

April: 2011 Opossum, Mommy's baby goat disappeared.

June: Quackers (duck) was killed accidentally by Sister's dawg.

July: Paw Paw passed.

Sept: Baby Allie Kat died. Duke, Mommy's "stray" dawg that has been with us for two years had to be put down.

Oct: Ducky (duck) was found passed in her closet nest.

Nov: Sister's pup Southern Belle was struck by a vehicle in her drive. Also Buckshot (3 month old, inside baby squirrel) disappeared believed to no longer be with us as Sally's actions and him not returning dictates.

We have also lost so many friends (fur and human) here on Dogster and Catster. 2011 has been a year of loss. We purr this coming year is a year of less pain.

I am hoping with writing this in my diary, Mommy can start to let things heal. We want to thank all of you that sent comforting thoughts our way and for being there for us.

Lil Al

As all of you know, I did not care for Lil Al. I do love and miss her. On her page in the Bio section you can read what happened. I am trying to comfort Mommy. I am not sure what happened myself except the lil Brat is not here and she should be! She did come down and say good bye to Mommy. Mommy woke up to Little Allie purrs and kisses, then she was gone. Daddy misses her running all over saying "Eeeeeek". Tibby is still moping around at his house. Mommy is going to bring him back tomorrow and see if it helps. I may even try and play chase with him to see if it makes him feel better.

Paw Paw passed this morning at 11:30 am. He wanted a direct cremation and no service.

Ok, My Dad is obviously not giving up. In 4 hours it will be 48 hours off of life support that he has lasted. He went into respiratory distress at the nursing home where he was rehabbing for/after his leg was amputated. He is DNR. The ambulance intabated (sp) him when he went into respiratory failure . I pulled life support and he is still here! Pulling for my Dad either way. What more can a daughter do? Thank everyone for all of there kind words, prayers and for being there!!!!

A month?

I can not believe it has basically been a month since I have been able to have a moment on Catster. Mommy being a smart "rear end" keeps telling me "Ms Mouthy there's the computer, tell everyfur how badly you REALLY have it around here!" Well last time one of us used the computer on our own (Spot Kat) an email was sent to Germany. Time before that Flagg sent IM's to Daddy's ex wife. ANYWAY!

Thibodeaux was here for the week end. PLUS one of Daddy's friends came over with his DAWG...AGAIN! Tabi won't stay outside. She mocks everything I do. I mean it is nice to be a hero to someone but she thinks she can pull my cr ummmm crud (yeah that's the word) on me. I have explained to Mommy that I am fed up with all of this discontent in MY life. I am the one that causes problems, I DO NOT deal with them!!!!

Also on the human front, the last month has been total chaos with Paw Paw (Mommy's Dad). Paw Paw got out of the nursing home and came home. The following week was 4 doctor visits and the week after a trip to the ER and back into the hospital. 2 emergency surgeries on his right leg then week before last they amputated his right leg, mid thigh. This past week the hospital sent him back to the nursing home. We do not know if he will be coming back home again or not. Mommy wants him rehabbed and herself trained as to take care of him. The main problem is Paw Paw is lazy when he is at home and will not do what he should, he expects Mommy to do everything for him. Also if he falls, Mommy is not big enough to get him up if he can not get up on his own. Of course part of his training is suppose to be learning how to fall and get back up. We shall see. Mommy has been told he can not come home. Her deal is: DO NOT tell him that, he has to have a goal.

Sticky Bug is growing. Mommy has pictures of her and will get them on my page asap. Mommy says it is a she now. Why? Because she can and she says Sticky listens as well as the rest of us girls. MOL. But it amuses her. (Mommy I mean) I am not allowed close enough to Sticky to tell what is going on, other than my mother needs medication!

Baby Stick

Ok, I will allow this to happen.

My second picture on my page is Baby Stick. My bug sibling. He is a tiny little Praying Mantis. They can live up to one year. Mommy went and bought bugs for him to eat. Yes, I said... B-O-U-G-H-T B-U-G-S.

The woman is insane, but she is my mother. I think, maybe. I may have to check into this further! (We look nothing alike)

My Pawrents!

Daddy brought in to Mommy a brand new Praying Mantis hatchling! OMC, you'd think they gave birth. *giant eye roll* long story short, Mommy's encounter that was witnessed by a friend of Daddy's with a praying mantis got her the name Dr Doolittle. Well the story came up last night. Tonight a new baby praying mantis showed up on Daddy's cigarette pack and would not leave. He brings it into Mommy and she finishes fixing Paw Paws plate with this tiny little green bug on her. OMC, you would not believe either one of them! Mommy is going to try and raise Stick, it's name. My cat, it is a bug! OMC, it is now my sibling! A Praying Mantis, a B-U-G.

Hmmmmmmm!

Morning Y'all,

Thank everyone for your purrs. I am feeling better, not purrfect, but much better. Of course I need to just look slightly pitiful and Mommy is right there trying to make sure I am alright. Also I sit on my bar stool and almost instantly I have either a spoon of canned food or kitten milk placed before me. This is the life!! MOL!! My only complaint is that I am only allowed outside in the yard for very short periods of time. Mommy says since I am sooooo sick, I don't need to be out in the heat. I can live with this ... for the time being. Allie Kat has been keeping Mommy busy bringing her lizards which Mommy has to catch and release back outside. So between that and me, the kitty door is now locked down. Tabico has taken over helping Mommy water and tend to the garden while I have not felt good. I know she can't do it as well as I do, but it keeps Mommy happy and everyone leaves me alone!

Home!

I AM HOME! Mommy was there before 8 to pick me up. I was READY to go and HUNGRY! Mommy fed me my favorite canned kitty food and gave me a bowl of kitten milk also! YUM! I have went outside and made sure my yard is as I left it and now I am going to take a nap. I go back in 10 days for a check up but I already feel soooo much better!!! All of the infection is gone. Mommy just has to keep a check and make sure no food gets caught in the wound where my tooth was pulled ti;l it closes up. I can't wait!!!! *evil grin* Hey Mommy ready to stick your fingers in my mouth??? I think all of my food is stuck in my wound!!!! You really should look!!!! *halo*
