Arrival Story:
Born a barn kitty, we got him for free around the end of January 1997.

Bio:
Smokie has stuck with us through thick and thin. We almost lost him a few times due to severe kidney infections and crystals, and a few colds here and there that have turned severe due to his age. Now he's healthy, and we keep him that way with special food and vet check-ups. He is a HUGE cat. Since he got sick he has lost a little weight but he is still very large, being a maine coon/forest cat mix. He was the only kitten with his markings when we picked him out; his brothers and sisters were very small and were black and white. Even as a kitten we knew he would be very large.
