Quick Bio:
-cat rescue

Any trespasser canines into my territory.

Favorite Toy:
Anything outdoors I could find.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Under the shed (nice and shady!) or in a tree, way up high on a branch in the sun (for afternoon naps).

Favorite Food:
Cat chow and lizard tails.

Guard cat. I had a reputation with all neighborhood dogs as a lunatic, and that suited me fine. I attacked canines on sight, especially if they enter my territory.

Arrival Story:
It is my sad duty to report that Chessie has passed on to the happy hunting grounds. It is suspected that she was bitten by a black widow spider. She died peacefully, curled up on the floor in the back seat of the family car. I had temporary custody of Chessie when she was 8 weeks old. She and I will always have a special bond, as during the two weeks I had her, she gave me the most vicious case of ringworm my dermatologist has ever seen. She had been abandoned in my brother's old neighborhood and they found her just as they were moving out. She was just a baby, and us siblings took turns caring for her during my brother's move until he and his family were settled.

Chessie was a rescued kitty. She was named for the famous cat of the Chessie System railroad line.
