Well, something big has happened to me!

I haven't been as peppy as I usually am and I am so thirsty. Well mom and dad noticed this and they took in a sample of my "urine" how embarrassing. Then off to the vet I went for a blood test, I hate that.
Well wouldn't you know it, I have something called diabetes. It sounds like I may have to get shots at home and be careful of my diet. MY DIET! I love to eat, but mom says I need to cut back and be careful. Well, I guess that's what I get for living the good life since I met my family. They wanted me to be happy, but I guess, too much food isn't good.
So I will let you know the next steps to my new, healthy life.MOL

Well here is another year in Catster. It has been a sad couple of months for some of our Cataster friends. We had a doggie friend, Tonka , who got very sick and his family spend a lot of money to get him treatments to help him. He got home and the tumor in his brain was not getting better and he had to go to the Bridge. We were all so very, very sad and shed tears for our doggie friend.

Then our friend Jazzi who everyone knew for a long time went to the bridge after a long life .. She was sick and had many treatments to keep her strong and before the end she even went blind, but her family kept her feeling well. She finally passed away before Halloween and, again, we were so sorry for her, but we are glad she had a long and very good life.

Now,my friend Belle, who we have know for over 2 years is very sick at the age of 12. Her mommie is worried about her and so are we. We are purring and praying for her all the time.

Belle and I look almost like twins, so she is my sister Tortie in some ways.
I am well and my brother Dakota is fine too so we are thankful this year.

Another Thanksgiving

Well, this is my 4th Thanksgiving in Florida and guess what, I don't miss the snow we had in Illinois! It is sunny and nice and we still have a turkey dinner, what a great life!

My new brother, Dakota is still a pain in the neck, but I do love to tease him. He is so easy. I go over and bite his tummy and those big furry paws he has. MOL They are so big,but they can't hurt like mine do and he runs like the wind when I get him. We do enjoy sleeping together in the sun and watching all the big birds outside by our home. We hear the strangest noises from some of them. Dakota runs like crazy thinking he can catch them. I think they do it just to tease him. Oh, and there is a big hawk who has been perching near out screened in porch. I think they see his apricot color and want to get him. I tell him I'm going to let it in so it can take him away. He is such a baby.

2007

This is my third year in Florida. Lots of things have changed. I lost my old buddy, Molly in2005 and got a new Brother, Dakota in 2006. I am happy here and even enjoy having Dakota around even though he is a cat and I really like my two doggie sisters. The birds are still big outside our screened porch and there are a few other critters-like the deer that ate our beautiful Japanese blueberry tree on Christmas eve. I did not have the heart to chase them(besides I am inside-lol). They need to eat too.

December, 2006

What a great year. Me and Dakota have fun wrestling in the morning . I spend the rest of the day sleeping and begging for some Fancy Feast.
The gators are still around the pond in our back yard, but seem to be gentle and never come near our house. Those big birds though, are nosey and like to peek in the screen once in a while. Dakota is afraid of them-he is such a baby.
I lie on my back and chill out in the sun-I've seen it all I tell Dakota.
Christmas Eve was my 7 year anniversary of being found after spending 3 weeks trapped under a deck during a terrible cold spell(below zero) and having no food or water. My family heard me and rescued me-the rest is history. I am sooooo happy. As Tiny Tim said, God bless us everyone!

End of the year 2006

Here it is, almost a year and we still have that kid-Dakota- boy from hell. He still thinks I want to jump,run, and play all day with him. I play for a while, but he needs to know I am the queen of the house-my human dad says so!

My diet

Well, it is a new year and I think I have lost some pounds since I got a new little brother, Dakota. I don't have time to sit and eat since he is around. I had to watch him on New Year's Eve, since our owners went out a little longer than usual(how dar they) he was afraid so he slept under the bed where I am. I didn't get too mad at him-he is a kid ya know.

Holiday Fun

It's Dec. 21 and our house is decorated to the max. I usually just sit back and look , but my new brother,Dakota, has taught me that it is fun to get behind the tree and gifts and run and jump. I don't think it is what I should do, but it is fun and he makes me do it. I know we have presents too, and when my friend, Molly(dog) was here, she kept me away from them. I think I enjoy this season.

New Brother

Boy, over 3 weeks have gone by and this kid-Dakota- is still here. I was hoping he would cause enough trouble that he would go back where he came from. He wants wants me to play-can you imagine! I sleep, eat, and occasionally purr up to my owners " on my time. " I have some favorite toys, and what does he do, takes them and loses them around the house. At least, he can't share my king size bed at night-my owners say that is my territory.

New brother

Boy I have a new brother, Dakota. He is a baby and I am not so young and he drives me crazy. All he wants to do is jump and play with me. I don't ever bite or scratch him, but I do hissssss and growl. My owners say I am the smartest cat in the world and the best. Guess Dakota doesn't know that yet. We hope he works out for us. I love to be on my own, but once in a while I enjoy the little mice toys,etc. Give me paws for putting up with this " little beauty".
