Arrival Story:
we found meteor in the winter by my mum's house and put a box with a door flap and a towel under the front steps for him to sleep in, then when he got a little tamer, brought him inside. he was a stray and still had a kitten-sized flea collar on. i could barely get the scissor blade in to cut it off. he had scar tissue all over the top of his head and took a while before he would let anyone love him. he's since been diagnosed with f.i.v. but it's still not active, so for now he's perfectly healthy.

so apparently mum has decided it is a good idea to pet sit for grandma. do i look impressed about this. no. like having to live with 2 other cats, 3 rats a hamster and a tank full of fish wasn't enough, there are now 4 more of these 'rat' things taking up space in my house as well as some overgrown rodent thing with big ears that mum keeps calling 'bunny bunny' and a tank with an extra long worm-looking thing... a snake. yeah. it's small for a snake, apparently, but it eats worms and is taking up my living space just the same. mum had better be extra affectionate with me or else october and lenny had better watch it. i'm in no mood...
