Arrival Story:
I was at this doctor's house you see. His son brought me home cause my recent owner could not take care of me. (I have had about 2 of them.) The wife loved me very much and I'd sit on her lap while she would read in the evening. What was unfortunate was that the dog they also had kept wanting to attack me! So as it got colder they had to keep me in a seperate room from the dog and I did not get to spend much time with the family anymore. Sigh.... They realized that this was no life for me so they started to look for a home for me. The doctor also worked where my mom works, and one day she heard from the nurse practitioner that works with him say that he had an ocilot he needed to find a home for. My mom was like, ocilot, that is a wild cat! So when she asked the doctor about this "wild cat" he had he said that it was an ocicat. Me! He asked if she was interested in adopting a cat and she stated she was thinking about it. So numbers were exchanged and she called the wife of the doctor and set up a time to meet with her. When she showed up I walked straight forward to say hello. I always greet people, it is only proper you know! Mom pet me and talked to me and I decided I liked her so much I rolled on my back for her. She pet my tummy and said that she'd take me home. I came with a carrier and a litterbox and a toy that my former owner brought with. Mom took me home and I'm very happy here. I just wish that Miss Bean my adopted sister would play with me. (She's not thrilled that I'm here.) Mom has a wand that has feathers on the end of it and I think that it is just dandy!
