Arrival Story:
Skippy, a stray cat, was trapped under the house by the snowstorm of Christmas 2004. Upon returning from out of town, we kept hearing something like a baby crying. After a little investigation, we heard him meowing through the heating vents. We went to check out how he had gotten under the house, and cleared away the snow and ice. The poor thing was so hungry and thirsty. At first he was very skittish, and only came out when no one was around. Now, he is very friendly and affectionate.
