Arrival Story:
We were looking for a companion for our cat, Pepper. We decided to look at pets in shelters,. That was a personal resolution I made after seeing so many cats in need of a home in a local pet shop where they displayed shelter cats up for adoption. We found Timmy rather quickly, there was just something about him that just "clicked" while we played with him in the visitation (aka "bonding") room at the shelter.

Bio:
Timmy had to be put down due to an ailment the vet said "may or may not be" treatable. It broke my heart after having brought him in to the vet for something that didn't appear to be serious, only to have left Timmy there as I told him a last goodbye and held him while the vet was administering the needle. I felt his life slip away and I bawled for days. He was only one and a half years old. Even Pepper seemed out of sorts, trying to figure out where his buddy went. I was reluctant to get another cat, but I felt that the loss of one should not be in vain, so I "replaced" Timmy with another abandoned shelter cat in need of a home (see Freddie's bio).
