The weather her is enough to make your whiskers curl in frustration! Windy and heavy showers. I go outside and no sooner than I go outside, it rains. What happened to the sun and warmth? I did supervise the cleaning out of the rabbits but I got board and fell asleep. I have been quite cantankerous today, I blame it on the weather (thats what moms says when shes in a bad mood!).
My cat is not fat ... he is mass enhanced.
My cat is not hydrophobic ... she has an inability to appreciate moisture.
My cat is not lazy ... he is motivationally challenged.
My cat is not underfoot ... she is shepherding me to my next destination (the food dish).
The Catfather is mass enhanced and looking to make some-cat an offer they cant refuse!!

The weather is dry but it is still windy so we are not happy bunnies here, as we dont like the wind. I had a short spell outside this morning before being called in for early dinner. We had early dinner because mom had to make an emergency dash to work again, it looked like the time had come to say good bye to another cat but when the vet got there he said he had one more thing to try her on, so for now there is a reprieve. Dabs is still very poorly and she is on borrowed time, she is hyper thyroid, has kidney failure, fluid build up, heart failure and has infected teeth, she is taking lots of meds, but despite all this she is eating and very bright. We have our paws crossed that she has a few more good days/weeks ahead of her. Our mom has been through enough heartbreak lately, we can only imagine what her emotions have been like today, up and down.
When mom came home, she decided to clean the floors so we all helped, some put dirty paws prints on the clean floor others tried to catch the mop as she was wishing it around. When she had finished I thought it would be fun to empty a litter tray all over the floor, I dont think she was impressed.
My cat is not a dope addict ... she is catnip appreciative.
My cat is not a lap fungus ... he is bed selective.
My cat is not a pest ... she is attention deprived.
My cat is not a ruthless hunter ... she is a wildlife control expert.
My cat is not evil ... she is badness enhanced.
It seems The Catfather has been caught in the act.....hes been seen looking in the mirror saying, "Mew looking at me? Mew looking at me?"
take care all

DDP again!!! Thank you diary gal. Im not one for catching mice so I hope you like the sticks I send you!!!!
After yesterdays excitement I had a relaxing day today. Spent some time in the garden this morning before coming in for dinner. Mom had to go out for the afternoon so I snoozed all afternoon. Dad was home first, so he gave us our tea, not with the same finesse as mom, sort of slapped into our bowls as he wanted to go out and do some gardening.
We were over the moon to hear that The Catfathers dad is going to give Panda a forever home. We knew he wouldn't be able to resist her charms. Cats are like chocolates....you can never have just one! Thats moms excuse anyway.
We would like to thank you for all the gifts for Tommy and Timmys birthdays and all the other gifts for all of us, so many its hard to keep up with them.
Politically Correct terms for Cat Owners
My cat does not barf hairballs ... he is a floor/rug redecorator.
My cat does not break things ... she helps gravity do its job.
My cat does not fear dogs ... they are merely sprint practice tools.
My cat does not gobble ... she eats with alacrity.
My cat does not scratch ... he is a furniture/rug/skin ventilator.
My cat does not yowl ... he is singing off-key.
My cat is not a "shedding machine" ... she is a hair relocation stylist.
My cat is not a "treat-seeking missile" ... she enjoys the proximity of food.
My cat is not a bed hog ... he is a mattress appreciator.
My cat is not a chatterbox ... she is advising me on what to do next.
Is The Catfather plotting world domination????

Its been Timmy and Tommy Mints first Birthday today. Mom was acting like she didn't know what day it was. Then at supper time we had chicken, so much chicken and then the twins had presents of toy mice and catnip toys, mom sprinkled cat down for us all and blew catnip bubbles for us all to chase. We had so much fun, then, when we were all tired out she got out another toy, feathers on a stick and tickled us all with it, we loved it. After that she lit 3 candles for Timmy and Tommys siblings who didnt make it and we had a moment of refection. Timmy and Tommy are purrfect additions to the family, Tommy is the trouble maker, all ways into something and Timmy is the baby, quiet, shy and gentle. We love them very much.
I didnt go out much today as it was still windy. My itches are better today, its just as well as I have one nerve left and they were on it!
In an answer to Tinks question, yes it is harder to scratch when you only have one back leg. You use your back legs to scratch each side of your neck or ear and if your missing a back leg, you cant scratch on that side.

Its been windy here today, so I haven't been out much. I dont mind the wind but its been very gusty and can blow me off my 3 legs. I did venture out for a little bit this afternoon only to supervise some more tidying in the garden.
* need to scratch*
I have been drive mad by an itch on the side where my leg is missing, I keep stopping to itch it and only my bottom twitches, I then go racing around because its driving me crazy. I have to go and mom to itch it for me. But, you know what she did? She went and got some horrible flea stuff to put on me. I hate that stuff but hopefully it will stop this darn itching, it makes my tail curl!
We have a big day here tomorrow.....its the twins FIRST birthday. Wow, where has the year gone. It seems like yesterday that we were up all night when Tilly went onto labour. We will also be remembering Tommy and Timmys 3 siblings that didnt make it.
*oooh gotta scratch*
Law of Refrigerator Observation
If a cat watches a refrigerator long enough, someone will come along and take out something good to eat. ( think this must be what the Catfather does as a pass time)
Law of Rug Configuration
No rug may remain in its naturally flat state for very long.
Law of Selective Listening
Although a cat can hear a can of tuna being opened a mile away, she can't hear a simple command three feet away.
Law of Space-time Continuum
Given enough time, a cat will land in just about any space.
*scratch, itch, scratch*
Anyone free to scratch and itch for a 3 legged cat with a generous mouse pouch?

Now look, guys.....can you PLEASE stop mentioning the *pink bunny ears*! That is something I do not wish to be reminded of, its in the past....end of!!!
I would like to thank everyone for their kind comments for my mom, it means a lot to her, not many people can understand what she goes through in her job, so thank you again.
Today it is Fox,s Birthday and he is 3 years old, mind you, he acts like hes 3 months old.
We all queued up at the door this morning waiting for mom to open it, and when she did we raced out only to stop in our tracks and race back in again. It was raining, as you know, I dont do rain!!!
I did venture out to the garage in the afternoon as dad was having a clear out, so, of course I had to supervise and make sure he did a good job.
As we had a birthday in the family, we had chicken for supper, yay, now we are all tucked up and sleeping. It is very windy outside and we have thunder and lighting, hope tomorrow is better.
We would like to wish all those that have a birthday today, a very happy birthday, there are soooo many of you.
Law of Furniture Replacement
A cat's desire to scratch furniture is directly proportional to the cost of the furniture.
Law of Milk Consumption
A cat will drink his weight in milk, squared, just to show you he can.
Law of Obedience Resistance
A cat's resistance varies in proportion to a human's desire for her to do something.
Law of Pill Rejection
Any pill given to a cat has the potential energy to reach escape velocity.
Law of Random Comfort Seeking
A cat will always seek, and usually take over, the most comfortable spot in any given room.
Just remember The Catfather has a mouse pouch too!!!!!

We have had a quiet day today. Mom needed us to be good. It started out like any other day and we were in the garden, it was a little windy and we got the wind up our little fluffy bottoms and were running around chasing each other. Mom came out and called us in for early dinner, she was rushing around.
Mom had gotten a call to go into work, Furby, one of the cats had gotten very ill these last few days and it was time to say goodbye to her. She was very sad as she hadn't long said goodbye to another cat at work. She has learnt long ago, that things happen in threes. Mom got to work in time to say another heartbreaking goodbye. She was gone most of the day as she couldn't pull herself away as another cat there is extremely poorly and you just don't know what's around the corner.
Mom came home and she was very quiet so we were as well. We dont mind sharing our mom with other cats, she has a hard job and she knows we love her and are here for her. Mom looks really tired from all the sadness lately, but she will pick herself up and dust herself down and carry on, she learnt that from us cats, we dont give up easily.
Tonight we purr hard again for all those that are ill or about to go on their next journey and we purr for Furby, another beautiful angel.
Law of Dinner Table Attendance
Cats must attend all meals when anything good is served.
Law of Electric Blanket Attraction
Turn on an electric blanket and a cat will jump into bed at the speed of light.
Law of Energy Conservation
Cats know that energy can neither be created nor destroyed and will, therefore, use as little energy as possible.
Law of Equidistant Separation
All cats in a given room will locate at points equidistant from each other, and equidistant from the center of the room.
Law of Fluid Displacement
A cat immersed in milk will displace her own volume, minus the amount of milk consumed.

I am so worn out after today's activities.
I have spent the day supervising mom and its been hard work. I started off supervising her clean the rabbits out, I helped a bit by sitting on the hay. Then it was inside for more hard work, dinner and a nap. After my nap, myself, Boo, Ziggy and Tilly followed mom out for some gardening. We all sprawled out in the sun while mom re-potted some plants and swept the patio area and did some weeding and pruning. We all tried to help when she was re-potting our catnip plants and she wasn't impressed when Boo grabbed one of the plants and ran off with it!
In the early evening we all went out again to help water the plants, we chased the water running out on the patio and ran off when we got our paws wet and then came back for more.
It was a fun day and we were all able to let our fur down abit!!
We havent forgot all those who have been suffering with the horrible weather or those who are ill and we are still purring for you all.
Law of Cat Sleeping
All cats must sleep with people whenever possible, in a position as uncomfortable for the people involved as is possible for the cat.
Law of Cat Stretching
A cat will stretch to a distance proportional to the length of the nap just taken.
Law of Cat Thermodynamics
Heat flows from a warmer to a cooler body, except in the case of a cat, in which case all heat flows to the cat.
Law of Cat Washing
A cat will wash itself at any time which is appropiate, which includes especially the moment after something has been jumped and escaped.
Law of Concentration of Mass
A cat's mass increases in direct proportion to the comfort of the lap she occupies.
Our law for tomorrow is
Take it easy!!
Law of Discovery

Keep on purring.

We have been purring over time here for all those in the US who are affected by the bad weather and tornado's. We worry about you all and hope you are all safe, we also worry for all the people and animals who are less fortunate. We can not begin to understand what you all must be going through but you are in our thoughts. If you have been affected and you haven't done so already, please go to the purr thread or the tornado check in thread and let us know you are OK.
I will not complain about the weather we have here again, I don't realise how lucky I am, but I am learning.
I wonder if The Catfather was a little scared???
We will continue to purr for all those that need it.
A bit of light relief...
Law of Cat Magnetism
All blue blazers and black sweaters attract cat hair in direct proportion to the darkness of the fabric.
Law of Cat Mass

Law of Cat Motion
A cat will move in a straight line, unless there is a really good reason to change direction.
Law of Cat Obedience

Stay safe everyone, we love you.

Today started off great. I am a DDP again, thank you diary gal and thank you all for your comments and gifts.
We checked the purr forum as usual, to find that Sable was helped to the bridge after having been bitten by a snake.
Norman is very poorly and then we read the sad news of Boxie Brown. Its just so sad. All our love and purrs are with all those going through this sad time and those who are also ill on the list.
Tink heart has set up a candle page for Boxie, the link is in the purrs thread. Please stop by and light a candle and be there for his mom as Boxie has been there for a lot of us.
Also stop by the purrs thread and send purrs to all those that are ill.
We posted a poem on Circles page.
If any of you are in need of a smile, here are some more Cat Physics.
Law of Cat Embarrassment
A cat's irritation rises in direct proportion to her embarrassment times the amount of human laughter.
Law of Cat Gravitation
A cat's gravitational pull (i.e. weight) will vary upward in direct proportion to the desire of the human to move the cat.
Law of Cat Inertia
A cat at rest will tend to remain at rest, unless acted upon by some outside force - such as the opening of cat food, or a nearby scurrying mouse.
Law of Cat Invisibility
Cats think that if they can't see you, then you can't see them.
Law of Cat Landing
A cat will always land in the softest place possible.
Law of The Catfather
He will make you an offer you cant refuse.
Purr hard today as your friends need you.
