We have had a quiet day today. Mom needed us to be good. It started out like any other day and we were in the garden, it was a little windy and we got the wind up our little fluffy bottoms and were running around chasing each other. Mom came out and called us in for early dinner, she was rushing around.
Mom had gotten a call to go into work, Furby, one of the cats had gotten very ill these last few days and it was time to say goodbye to her. She was very sad as she hadn't long said goodbye to another cat at work. She has learnt long ago, that things happen in threes. Mom got to work in time to say another heartbreaking goodbye. She was gone most of the day as she couldn't pull herself away as another cat there is extremely poorly and you just don't know what's around the corner.
Mom came home and she was very quiet so we were as well. We dont mind sharing our mom with other cats, she has a hard job and she knows we love her and are here for her. Mom looks really tired from all the sadness lately, but she will pick herself up and dust herself down and carry on, she learnt that from us cats, we dont give up easily.
Tonight we purr hard again for all those that are ill or about to go on their next journey and we purr for Furby, another beautiful angel.

Sorry to hear about your Mother's having to say goodbye to Furby, but we're glad to know she was there for her. Something we hope for all of us. Thank her for the good work.

So sorry you mom had such saddness. It is wonderful that she loves kitties at work, even when they are very ill. They know that they are loved and cared, even if they have to pass over. There needs to be more wonderful people like your mom. I know that our Stephanie says it helps her get by helping a horse cross over when she has an opportunity to help one be born. I know your mommy must help many kittie get healthy, happy, and loved. Maybe that can help her through the hurt right now.

Your mom is an incredible moma, please take good care of her us kitties need more moma's like her for the sake of us that got thrown out on the streets and ended up in shelters. Big hug and loud purrs!
