fostering kittens is hard. They are fragile and sometimes they get sick. They dance in their litter box and play with their poop. They are always under foot and especially hazardous at feeding time. They may miss the litter box or throw up making lots of laundry. Fostering kittens is hard work.
Fostering kittens is also fun. You get to experience the joy of thundering paws running through your house. If the kitten is a little bit shy you are the one that experiences that first purr. You see the leap of faith that kittens take into your arms and running to you for love and food.
When you foster you know first hand that you are making a difference. Fostering kittens is hard work but full of joy. My family fosters kittens. Maybe your family would like to help by fostering too. Many rescue groups are struggling and need foster homes. If you are interested contact your local shelter or rescue groups.
Join with my family on the power of purr to purr for rescues and forever homes. We need our foster kittens adopted so we can rescue more.
