Arrival Story: My first cat had just recently passed away and I was upset, for obvious reasons, and so was our dog (it was more depressing seeing him mourn the loss of the cat that basically raised him). I couldn't live without a cat, and apparently neither could our dog, I finally managed to convince my mom to let me get another cat (the downside of still living at home).
Anyway, after many headaches dealing with agencies who didn't think I was suitable to own a cat and was not a "cat person" (yea, okay) I finally found Lance. I knew he was the one as soon as I saw him in the window at PetSmart. He was mine by the end of the week.
At first he was really timid and scared. We were told that, at first, the people who rescued him from upstate NY thought he was missing an eye because the one was so badly infected. I think that he was attacked while in the wild because he refuses to go outdoors (fine by me). Now he gets all the love and attention he could possibly want.
Bio: I love his coloring, that was another thing that made me want him. He has typical tabby stripes but on his belly (which is white) he has spots! I love it!
I was told that humans come on the web to talk. I thought spiders were on webs, I like spiders. They curl up in funny little balls when I paw at them. Mom is always showing me pictures of other cats. I'm glad I'm not the only weird one out there.
Mom wasn't feeling good today, her stomach was hurting her so I cuddled with her. She was happy but then my dog-brother came in so I decided to jump on him. He makes funny sounds when I do that. He's fun to play with.
