Arrival Story:
I first saw a Corney at the vet clinic where I was working and thought immediately that my next cat would be one of those. At the time we had a lovely rescue cat who was only 12 and would surely live to at least 20, right? Sadly she succumbed to cancer last summer at only 13. I started researching Cornish Rexes the same week, mostly as distraction, and had found a breeder within a month. It has been 6 months of waiting for a litter to be ready, but in the meantime I made a serious effort to learn about these fascinating creatures. I also researched cat nutrition, making my own food, cat training and behavior. Finally I was able to go and choose a kitten on Friday (Jan 11) and we brought home Godfrey. He is awesome! The whole family is in love with him. The wait was totally worth it!
