Arrival Story:
Luna was adopted as a kitten with her brother Thor from an accidental litter. We had wanted a tortie girl and we got her and her brother at about 8 weeks old. Luna was very shy and cautious at first, but with lots of TLC, she blossomed into a very loving, friendly kitty. :)
Bio:
Luna is a longhaired, big-boned tortoiseshell with amber eyes. She had lots of unique speckles and splotches in her coat, especially on her feet. One splotch is in the shape of a deformed heart. :) She is a people-loving cat, although very quiet, she will curl her tail and bump you with her head when she wants to be pet. She was very shy as a kitten, but has grown to be very friendly and loving, and extremely tolerant. She's a favorite with little kids, unlike Thor, who runs and hides from anyone outside of the family. She doesn't mind being carried, cuddled, played with, and is highly admired for her extremely plush, soft coat. She has a very quiet meow, and only uses it as an occasional "Hello", or when she wants food. Luna is a lap cat, and loves any opportunity to climb on your lap, whereas Thor gets squirmy after awhile, and wants to go do something else. Her favorite person is my brother, Collin. She is an acute hunter, and brings in many decapitated mice, birds, and rabbits for us to enjoy.
