The Real Story

Our Aquarium Overflowed, and My Mom Thought I Peed!!

I was born a feral kitten. Then, at a few months old, I was taken off the streets, and I was brought to the shelter, where my mom adopted me. I had a litterbox at the shelter. So I started my litterbox training there. When I was adopted, my mom bought me Kitten Attract brand litter. I did very well with my litterbox. During my first few weeks, I didn't have any accidents around the house. I've never had one.

So, I'm not quite sure why I was blamed the other day, when my mom felt a puddle under her foot. The first thought that entered her mind was, "Story!" (I was shocked! ) It took a few seconds before my mom realized there was a lot more water than just one puddle! Our aquarium was overflowing! It made quite the mess, but my mom got it all cleaned.

Next time my mom feels moisture under her feet, I'm hoping I'm not the first pet that enters her mind! After all, there are three other pets in here besides me; all three are dogs! Two of the dogs have had real pee accidents!! I know where I'll be pointing my paw next time. I'm not so sure about my mom though!

That would have been quite the mess to clean up. You would have thought one of the doggies would have come to her mind first. Us kitties are usually the good clean ones!

Oh no my Mom would blame the doggies first, especially Milo cause he is the one that sneaks off and pees....now be honest Story you got into the fish tank and took a swim with the fishies....just kidding!

Us kitties are always blamed for things around the house, so make sure you point your paw to the doggies

MOL! I think it goes back to my mom worrying about me not being litter trained as a baby kitten. It just goes to show though that feral kittens do very well with their litterboxes. I've never had an accident. I was adopted almost a year ago.

We did have a low corals only aquarium! I used to have my mom pick me up so I could splash the water! I did that every day!!
