Arrival Story:
We adopted Freddie after finding an ad in the paper for free kittens. The lady told us he was a girl, so his original name was "Phoebe". Gumbo was found by my husband, hiding in a bush in an urban park. Hubby thinks he saw the guys who dumped Gumbo there - he couldn't just leave him!

Bio:
Gumbo is the black one, Freddie is the red one. These two boys became best friends right away. They even look alike except for their coloring. Unfortunately, we had to give up Freddie and Gumbo to a shelter - we fell on hard times and had to move or be evicted. We were careful to choose a "no-kill" shelter (MD SPCA) so we'd be sure they'd be adopted. With their sweet demeanors and youth, I'm sure they found a new home quite swiftly. We can only hope. I love you and miss you boys, wherever you may be!
