Arrival Story:
My aunt & uncle have a farm, hence, lots of farm cats. Their cat, Elizabeth, had litter after litter for awhile and they were over-run with kittens so they called on my family to help them out. My Mom & Dad have a cat named Gonzo, another of Elizabeth's babies from 1991 - sidenote, Gonzo was my dog, Teddy's first birthday present. My older sister had a cat named Prescious, Gonzo's sister. She has since left us. My sister and I visited the farm and picked out the kittens that we wanted. They were to be delivered in a couple of weeks when they were ready to leave Elizabeth. I picked out the little grey runt and wanted to name him Nermal from Garfield. When my Aunt and my cousins delivered the kittens, my sister got the kitten she picked out, Zella. Zella Bella or Zellers as I like to call her, is a more dainty, princess like version of Gonzo. The kitten I picked had gone missing so they brought me one that looked the closest to the one I picked out. Honestly, she didn't look anything like the other kitten, my aunt just wanted to get rid of some cats. Either way, it didn't take long for Tigger to win us over. Teddy was extremely happy with the new addition. She enjoyed chasing Tigger and pulling her around by the tail (part of the reason for the tail sensitivity).
