Mikey can I ask why on earth they are feeding you an all dry diet? That's SO not good for kitties. It should be the other way around. An all wet diet is the best thing for you. No dry food at all sweetheart. A good high quality protein, grain free, wet food diet would be ideal.

Hi Finney! I has very sensitive gums and the vet says if I eats wet food and not my speshul dental dry foods all my teeths will has to be takens out in only another year or two even though I is only one year old now! If I eats my dental foods and I lets mummy and daddy brushes my teefs it will hopefully be much much longer before they is too bad to stay in my mouth. I has already had to go to the vet so the vet could scrape all the nasty stuffs off and clean them and because I has to sleep through it she doesn't likes doing it too regularly. I can has some fresh foods along with it sometimes like chicken.

I see, you live in the UK right? Here in the US the myth that dry food improves tooth health has been mostly dispelled. But if it's working for you buddy then I guess it's what needs to be done. Me and Lacey eat an all wet diet and our toofies look fine. Ours is a grain free, high quality protein diet, I think that has a lot to do with it also. But I can see how your meowmy wouldn't want to chance it with you buddy.

The vet has gived it to other kitties and most times it helps clear up troubles they already had with their teefs and helps keep them good. It is special dental dry foods, not just any old dry, with special stuff to keep teefs cleaner.
