It's still way too cold to be outdoors so we have been playing indoors. One of my absolute favourite things is my Cube. I like to run into it and out the other side. If I get a good enough run up I can roll with it across the floor or slide in it.
I was doing that yesterday and then I peered out of the top. When mum saw me peeping at her she threw a toy mouse in with me only she missed and it landed on the edge. Game on! Could I get it with my paw without rolling the Cube?
When I had defeated the mouse - Score One to Toby, I got it in - I peeped out again and mum threw scrumpled up paper which worked pretty much as well. We played that for ages.
Mum says the forecast is that the snow will come today and there will be lots of it. She said she was worried about driving home from work. I looked at her.
"But it's not here" I pointed out.
"And you're sitting on the sofa, not driving at all" I added
"That is so at the moment."
"So you're having a special bonus worry to add to the one you can have when you start to drive?" Just checking that I had properly understood the situation. She nodded.
People do seem to like their worrying. You don't catch cats thinking about what might happen in the future. I worry about the vet when I see that box and not one second sooner.
Anyway mum says if it does snow they might send her home from work early and then we can go in the garden and play in it which sounds brilliant.

You're not going out because it too cold and I'm not going out because it too hot. There must be something we can do to resolve this problem. I'll send you some heat to help warm things up and you send me some cold so it cools down here.
After we've done this then hopefully we'll both be able to go outside.
I hope your Mum gets to go home early from work when the first flake flies. English people aren't used to the snow. They can't drive in it. Not like people here in Iowa. Our Mom doesn't get off work unless there is 3 feet of snow. *looks at his paws* Three of my feet is not that much actually.
No snow here! The weathermen were all wrong.
Dear Monster, may I offer you some of our left-over snow? Only four weeks old, slightly used. Watch out for any yellow or brown spots. The law care guys had piled it up so high that we still have some.
I don't know why people like worrying so much! I like sleeping a lot more.
Wow, Mietzi, mom would love some snow! I personally would prefer not to have any, because I don't like to get my paws wet on the deck.
