I am starting to get just a little concerned with Meeka and his need to wake me up way earlier than I need to. He woke me up at 2:30AM today and part of me is thinking I should be really, REALLY pissed at him, but then there is that part of me that is thinking that something must be bothering him for this to keep happening.
I have been having a lot of issues with my gallbladder recently (his wake up calls didn't start until about a week ago) so I'm wondering if there is some sort of connection between me being asleep and this.
He will come in my room (I can't lock him or the others out because he will stand at my door and just get louder) stand on me and meow so loud that I can't help but wake up. This morning he kept nudging me too. Like he gets right in my face and won't leave me alone. When I wake up Sam, Cullen and him all are in my room. The other thing is his "normal" meowing is getting more insistant all the time. If I didn't know any better I would say he was in heat, but thats impossible-he was fixed in January.
So I guess this is just me being overly irritated and now curious. If I had a video camera I might set it up so I could see what the heck is going on..

I came home from the holidays a couple of days ago. I had been away for 2 days and when i get home my little furry family were all excited and stuff but Meeka has this habit was crying extremely loud until you pick him up. then she stops and purrs. I tried to sleep in my room with the door shut and he seriously sat outside my door crying and would stop just as everything got quiet, but if i turned over or something and made even a tiny bit of noise there would go the mewing again..
I am thinking he just wants to attention because if you pick him up or pet him he stops. Its just strange. I have never had a cat/kitten that did this.
He goes to get fixed on Thursday. I was really worried about the way Sam changed after she was fixed. She went from pretty thin to chunky (shes not overweight, but health looking and she looks much different than she used to). Its just an odd thing to notice a change in. So im hoping Meeka's not to different.
Well thats it for now..

I adopted Meeka from a friend who found out she was deathly allergic to cat dander. Meeka had belonged to her mom and i said i would take her in. I brought Meeka home when she was 8 weeks old and Sam and Cullen seemed to take right to her. Its interesting to look at them and see my little family. Cullen seemed to adopt her faster than Sam did which was cool.
So a couple weeks went by and i notice that there are little yellow stains on the bath mat. One day i actually caught her in the act of peeing on stuff. She seemed to do it more when she was irritated or smelt other cats on the clothing. Then i saw it.
I was in the bathroom cleaning, and Meeka was cleaning her self. And i noticed she was actually a he. I think by 10 weeks and when he's coming to his name its a little late for a switch.
I have an appointment set up in january to get him fixed. it will be a good thing. i hate dragging blankets to the laundry mat.
