Arrival Story:
My dad has a shed in the backyard that the neighborhood cats used to hang out in to get out of the rain or have some privacy. It was only a matter of time until the inevitable happened: a cat gave birth in there. Easter Sunday, my younger brother came home to find a tabby cat known now as "Mizumi" laying with some freshly birthed tuxedo kittens. Since my family already had several cats, we were going to give the kittens away as soon as they were weaned. However, after awhile, my dad suggested that I adopt one for myself and my husband. We were reluctant, but after a few weeks of watching them play outside, we fell in love.
