I was 11 years old, and wanted to adopt a cat from the shelter. I didn't get a chance to look around to much because she had already picked me for her owner, I was close to her cage and she got up from where she was laying and tapped me with her paw and started licking me. A decade later and were still together and Daisy found her forever home. :)
