Zayla's Adventures!

I HAVE A SISTER...kind of...

Whooooo...sorry it's been so long everybody! My momma let some guy fix her laptop who wouldn't give it back for a long time. Oh speaking of my momma she has a new boyfriend! He lives here in the basement with us and GUESS WHAT...he has a cat! Her name is Tigger!!! :) At first we fought a lot but we get along better now. My momma still makes time for me and always has room on her lap so i can cuddle with her. One of me and Tigger's biggest problems is that she likes to cuddle with my momma too. One time i got so mad i started a cat fight right there on her lap. I accidentally scratched my momma's hand pretty bad, she got kind of upset at me but got over it pretty quickly. My mom calls me and Tigger the dynamic duo since we cause a lot of problems together. My mom says that we rubbed off on each other in the worst ways, like me meowing to get attention and stealing food from my momma's grandma when she's cooking, now Tigger does that stuff too. Even though me and Tigger drive my momma and her boyfriend, Drew, crazy we have managed to create a pretty happy family together. Drew is nice to me, although he's more strict than my momma. She thinks it's funny because i'm so stubborn and i never obey him. But i obey my momma. She expects me to behave myself, but i like to bug Drew because it's entertaining. Anyways, life here in the basement has gotten a lot more lively with the new additions to my family but me and my momma still have our special bond. No boyfriend or new kitty will ever break that. :)

I GO OUTSIDE NOW!!! :)

Whooo...it's been a while since i've been on here. My momma's computer broke, it was horrible, she had nothing to do. Anyways, lots has changed. Her momma flipped and said either i start going outside or my momma has to 'get rid of' me. :( She was really upset but started letting me outside. I still come whenever she calls me, and come inside periodically to check on her. Plus since my momma started college again she's not home as much. So it's probably a good thing that i can go outside so i don't get cabin fever. I'm always waiting for my momma when she gets home though. Greet her with a big MEOWWWW and PURRRRR. Plus every night she makes me come in before it gets dark. At first i didn't like it, but then her mom locked me outside on accident all night and now i come in whenever my momma calls me. :) Dont want to do that again. I was mostly lonely. The next morning when our neighbor woke up i made my way over to her and crawled all over her. She called my momma and she came outside and got me. She felt really bad and was really mad at her mom. Her momma and her have a system now so they know i'm inside when they shut the door for the night. Although they don't need it because i'm ALWAYS inside when it gets dark. :) Learned my lesson. Anyways, i'm relly happy! Me and my momma's mom are even getting along now. My momma doesn't worry about me too much, especially since i never go so far that when she calls me i can't here her. Life is good. Different but good. :)

Thank you all for the congradulations on being Diary Pick of The Day. :) I was honored. Anyways, life here is getting better. My momma's momma has started to like me, i think it's because no matter how mean she is i'll still cuddle up to her and purr. She told my momma "it's just way to hard not to love that cute little cat" my momma smiled and agreed. I've still got a lot of training to do but have kind of figured out the basics so it's a lot less hectic in the basement. My momma's momma is even letting me into her bedroom now! :) My momma found out that the way to keep me from clinging to the screen on the window is to just not open the window. So in all honesty i'm in her momma's room quite a bit now because she does open the window for me. She told my momma that if i grab onto the screen that i'll "learn to fly." Whatever that means. Anyways like i said life is getting easier and since my momma's momma likes me she buys me stuff. :) Like some nice new cat litter and some special indoor cat food. My momma normally buys me the good stuff but can't always afford the best. So it was nice that her momma helped her out a little bit. Plus that cat food is REALY nummy. :)
