Arrival Story:
We saw an ad in a pet shop for free kittens. Only the ''runt'' was left, a lovely, tiny black fluff ball who hid under the sofa for hours at first! That was Sophie.
Bio:
Sophie got her name in a spooky way! Our son Jack (3) woke up the morning after we got her and said ''good morning, Sophie.'' I asked why he called her that and he simply replied ''the kitten's name is Sophie,'' as if she'd told him! Sophie was a fiesty cat who loved a good scrap (we had many scratches to prove it!) She loved to be outside, so we decided to do the responsible thing and have her neutered when she was six months old. Sadly, she had a reaction to the anaesthetic and didn't survive the operation. She is greatly missed.
