EARTHQUAKE!!!!!October 16th 2012 4:25 pm[ View A Comments (18) ] Did any of you furs here in New England feel that? 7:10 pm eastern time we just had an earthquake. Jeez that scared the bajeez out of us!!! That kept going and going and going! We had it strong here in southern NH. Phew! Hope there are no aftershocks. I know, know. We are wimps here compared to California. Hey! We are not used to this, it's scary. It actually gave my mommy a headache and now she's all loopy and rocky, feels like she's moving around when she's not. WEIRD!!! that was one of the strongest ones we've ever had over here. Least while I've been alive. WOWZERS!
Hey Lacey we live in California and we get scared too, so we are with you....it is no fun....you are not a wimp cause anything can happen when you are rockin and rollin and no where to go. Just pray that is all we can do when this happens. We live here in earthquake country. Southern Calif. It can be very scary!! How strong was it??? I hope you don't get many aftershocks. You will get them, but hopefully you won't notice most of them. Welcome to our world......MOL Try to stay calm....hopefully no more big ones... BonnieBoo We had an earthquake here (Michigan)a bit over a year ago, and yes it WAS scary...maybe some nice peacefur music will help calm your Mom, and then you and Finney can hold her down in case of an aftershock...which we hope won't happen... Hang in there folks! It was a 4.6! That's nothing to you Cali furs but to us, that's crazy! Mommy was ready to run under the doorway. Me and Finney couldn't have cared less. MOL. This old house doesn't need anymore cracks in it. We heard about it on the news. We live in the Boston area and didn't feel anything....We can't believe that it was a 4.6.....Did anyone feel it? It didn't even scare us..... yes, it was felt in all the New England states and it was very, very strong here. I saw on channel 7 news that it was felt in Boston so you lucked out. Yes, we felt it! As I said, mommy was wondering when it would stop! She ran downstairs and everyone was like "did you feel that"? MOL. It was actually centered in Hollis Center Maine, near Portland. OMC, Oh My Gosh! That is scary. Thankpurrly we've nefur had the earth quake here in Iowa since Mom lived here (12 years). We're hoping we don't get any aftershocks but they said it was very shallow, only 3.1 miles deep. So we could get some. yikes! Hopefully that won't happen. Mom is still shooken up. Me and Finney are sleeping, MOL. Yikes! Very scary - glad you made it through okay! Mom felt the one that they had in Virginia last year. It is a wierd feeling. She thought something was wrong with her at first but then one of the other ladies at work had felt it too. We hope you guys are okay and don't have aftershocks. Hi Rose and Skylar. No aftershocks so far. Mom is afraid it'll happen in the middle of the night. Don't know how the furs in Cali do it all the time! I've been in earthquakes before, a long long time ago when we lived in California. They aren't too much fun. So far no aftershocks, at least none we can feel. that's good. No Jezz, they aren't fun at all! hi Lacey- We did not feel it here near Beantown although the folks on the news said they felt it in their tv stations. You guys hang in there! We are purring no after shocks. We felt the one last year from Virginia too and meowmie said everyone wanted to lose their lunch, so we know these things are no fun at all!!! We felt it really strong here Bibi! That was one of the strongest ones mommy said she's ever felt. Scared the poopy out of her, MOL. Mom had a big headache after, seriously. It shook her marbles loose she said, MOL. We just read it in the paperr this morning and thought of you! It said it was centered in Maine and a 4.6 so we figured it prolly affected you!!
