Turning back timeNovember 6th 2010 12:24 pm[ View A Comments (7) ]
Well we turn the clocks back an hour tonight and we are NOT happy about this! It's only November and me and Finney are already so bored it's not funny. Mom has been opening the windows a crack just so we can still look at the birds and hear them. She did get us some new cubes that connect to play in and she ordered us a new toy that should be in on Monday. We had a ball last night playing in our new cubies. We'll have to take some new pictures of that.
I think kitties can get SAD too! The days are shorter and it's dark for a longer time and we can't have the windows open to look out at the wildlife and there's not much to do but sleep. We also pick up on how our humans are feeling and sometimes we feel the same way. Hope you're enjoying your new toys and they cheer you up! Love, Kaci I do believe kitties can get seasonal affects disorders or sad, especially if they sense it from the parents too. Mommie says it is nice to have a night with an extra hour of sleep though, IF I LET HER SLEEP, giggles, but getting dark so early, thats the pits! Hugz and purrs, Sassy Mamma says she doesn't give a hootinanny about sleeping later. She just wants the warm days and sunshine to come back. Winters are too darned long here. Oh well! I agree with Sassy. I think kitties might get it from their parents. I don't have SAD. Mom doesn't either. I have RTHLT...Runs Thru House Like a Tornado! heheheheh I get real SAD because a lotta my sunspots disappear - I have to lie in non sunny areas and that is no fun! I'm not exactly sure if kitties can get SAD, but we definitely don't like it when it is too cold to have the windows open and it is too dark for us to see the outside. Mommy gets SAD, she definitely misses those long days of summer! Love, Tully Well I'm sad right now because it's already dark outside, grrrr. I hate that! BUT! I'm happy also because mom was laying down on her bed snuggled in her blanky because she was cold. And I was just walking up and down her legs for over a half an hour massaging her! She loves it and I think it's fun. I kept slipping all over the place though, LOL. But maybe I'll start to snuggle on the bed more now that it's cold again. |
