So we're all wondering what the heck is wrong with hoomans these days! There is person or people setting fire to houses all over our side of town and yesterday there were EIGHT fires set in one day, just blocks from our house! What in the world is going on with people? Why are all of these hoomans so violent and want to hurt others? We're really scared! What happens if we catch on fire and we can't get grams and gramps out in time? What about us? What about our elderly cousin kitties downstairs? Momma is freaking out, this just isn't right.

I hope they catch this crazy person because this is scary stuff. Momma says when she was little, her best friend's house up the street from us was on fire BIG time and everyone had to leave the neighborhood. She said you could see the flames from miles away. That doesn't sound fun to me, fire is dangerous and I don't want my tail singed off!

This weekend was John Lennon's birthday and momma played his songs "Imagine" and "Give Peace A Chance". What happened to those words? Isn't anyone listening? We animals are staging a protest! We're sick of all this bad behavior from hoomans! Just cut it out and stop hurting others! You could take a lesson from us kitties. We do what we have to do to survive and the rest is up to nature.

Momma isn't sleeping very well now. She feels like she has to stay up and watch around the house to see if the flood lights come on. Sometimes it's just a skunk or something looking for bugs or sometimes we hear kitties fighting outside (like last night, WOW)! But now she feels like she has to sleep in her clothes and have the hose ready in the yard. Poor momma. If it's not one thing it's another. She's always worrying about something.

Wow, that is scary! Please be careful! I hope they catch the person or persons that is doing this quick. Mommie said she would not be able to sleep either! What is wrong with people???

Thanks you guys. Momma's getting ready to go for her daily walk and she's gonna try and go check out the burnt houses. She almost doesn't want to leave the house but she's been trying to get some much needed exercise and knows winter is coming soon. So she wants to get in as much sun and nature as she can.

That is sad and scary, Lacey! Do you guys have an evacuation plan just in case? I purr that you'd never have to use it, but our Mama has portable carriers, food, litter boxes, etc. set aside for any type of emergency, whether it be fire, earthquake, etc. It gives her peace of mind knowing that we have a plan "just in case." We will purr and purr that those fires stop, and the bad people are caught, that's just not right!

We don't Tully and momma knows we should. She's going to bring up our carriers today from the basement just in case. Can your momma pawmail me with how you guys have all that stuff set aside and where you put it so we have an idea on what to do?

Lacey, that is beyond scary! My mommy wouldn't be able to sleep either. Some humans are plain ole crazy and don't care who they hurt. Purring that they catch this crazy human soon (very soon!) and purring that you and your family remain safe.

Thanks Kaci, momma saw on the news tonight that they were lighting stuff on fire that was sitting outside of people's houses like an old mattress and sofa, some wooden pallets and stuff like that. We don't have anything sitting outside our house, our yard is clean so hopefully they ARE caught soon but maybe they won't hit our house if they're still out there. Still super scary though and not the fun kind of scary like Halloween either!

Gumpy I'm gonna pawmail it to you because Tully's mom mailed it to me earlier today. It's really good and I'm gonna keep it on my computer so if anyone wants a copy I'm sure Tully's momma wouldn't mind me passing it around. It's very well prepared instructions and I'm gonna do it!

Oh geez, mom didn't hear anything on the news! I'd definately keep an eye out. At least have the carriers out and ready until that jerk is caught! Keep the hose nearby. Hope the police catch him/her!

Hi Hunter! They had it all over even the Massachusetts news last night. So far nothing else has happened and I think it was a couple of teenage guys. Big jerks! Hopefully they do get caught before someone gets hurt.
