This week's blog entry, hope it's informative!
Little Known Bad Ingredients.
Hope everyone is well! I know we haven't written any diaries lately. That's cause we are BORED! MOL. Not much to talk about which sometimes can be a good thing. OH! Mommy pulled a tendon in her left elbow shoveling the end of the driveway during the 21 inches of snow we got in that big storm a couple of weeks ago. Now it hurts her a lot! She's hoping she doesn't have to go and get any shots for that like she did her back but so far her arm is feeling a little numb. sigh. it's always something. Getting ready for more snow tonight. Will it ever end? We want spring and birdies and stuff! Sunshine and warm days, hurry up! Well, that's it for now. TTFN!
Just read your new blog. Never knew that about soy, but had heard about spinach and carrageenan. Thank you for sharing! Hope your Mom's arm starts feeling better soon. We are having sleet and snow tonight and lots of wind. We can't wait for spring either!
So far no snow yet but it's supposed to start in the middle of the night. Glad you liked the blog Rusty! Hope you're feeling well these days!
We knew about the spinach...but the soy we only knew that to not be good fur humans, despite the hoopla over some of its compounds.
The carregeenan is chemical soup in meowmy's eyes...but its in so many things. Even in a lot of icecreams...UGH!
Thanks Ruffy! I've been doing well. Mom is watching me like a hawk! No treats, no food changes and no cheating with table foods, except when we had chicken. Hope you don't get too much snow.
We are getting a huge dump of heavy wet snow & sleet right now...YUCK!
Had about 4 inches in 3 hours...and its still coming and coming...
Ruffy? MOL. I'm Finney!! Glad you're feeling so good Rusty and glad you aren't cheating on your diet because it may taste good in the short run but it's SO not worth going through that again.
Hi WeeBees! YUCK is right! So sick of all this snow. More than ready for even 50 or 60 degrees. The heavy wet stuff is the WORST to shovel and even use the snowblower on. At least that's what my mommy says. Thankfully as a cat, I don't need to do either, MOL.
OMC, Finney, I did just type that, Sorry, we just saw Ruffy in another diary. Ooops, can't seem to multi-task anymore MOL! Mom did that once on her phone when she was texting several friends at the same time.
MOL!!!! That's okay Rusty. That's funny about the phone.
Hope your momma feels better!
Hi Finnigan, Wow, 21 inches of snow, we can't imagine what shoveling that is like, hope your Momcat is feeling better soon.
Our Mom's arm is achy too-but from shoveling mulch and raking-anticipating Spring, even though it's a balmy 35 degrees today :)
Purrs, Gentleman Jack
PS Between raking and shoveling, Mom also hit golf balls(well, attempted to hit golf balls) she should have known better.
Thanks for update on what not to eat. And hope your meowmie's arm is feeling better.
We're tired to winter too and are getting pounded by cold rain this week. I'm glad I'm a cat too and don't have to deal with it directly.
Thanks Charlie! Hi Jack, that was a really big storm we had a couple of weeks ago. Hope we don't see that again for awhile. Luckily last night if it snowed, it's all gone! Hurray! It's raining and 40 degrees so no snow left! Whoo hoo! Hi Meep! Me too, glad I'm a kitty and don't need to do anything if I don't want to. MOL
Great blog.. thx for the info..
Tell your mommy we hope she is getting better.
Meiko and mommy
Thanks Meiko and I hope you're feeling better these days.
Finny, you wouldnt beleive what a loving home (i know you know wha a loving homes is, just saying) and some steriods can do for a kitty.
I have gained about 1 lb and eating....
Meiko that's GREAT!!! We're so happy to hear this. Our kitty cousin, Midnight, is on steroids and it's saved her life. They can have side effects but most medications do. And the advantages outweigh the risks. Good for you Meiko!
I've werked on staying as grain free as possible. My mneowmy noticed my "Newmies" smelled more when she made sure to lose the grain and add the meat...heheheheheh Didn't know about any of that stuff in our food. Wow!
Hi King Henry! I hear you have a new vet!
