Arrival Story:
I met a man at a Buddhist meeting one night. The next day he calls me up to chat and, oh by the way, the neighbor is giving a bunch of kittens to the shelter. He said they were part siamese and some were all white. On a whim I asked my roommate, "can I get one, huh, huh?" She has a beautiful longhair gray and white male that was pretty terrritorial. She said ok and the man said, "I'll call you back." 10 minutes later he was at my front door with this teeny tiny 4 week old baby girl. She was shaking and covered in fleas but I loved her instantly. She had gorgeous ice blue eyes. I never had a cat before and to receive one so frail was frightening. My roommates friend had a friend who wanted an all white cat as well. I called the man back and asked if he had another one. "I'll call you right back,"he says. 5 minutes later he was at my front door with a male in slightly better condition. He was more rambunctious than the girl. Over the next two days the boy grew twice the size of the girl and the girl would not eat. We dilligently picked off the fleas and tried to get the girl to eat. Monday I took them to the vet. After several expensive tests it was determined that the baby girl probably wouldn't live. I had to make the decision to have her put to sleep. Needlessly to say, the friend pf the friend decided he didn't want the kitten and he wasn't going to get him anyway. The little boy became Frankie a few days later. He's my little blessing with lots of teeth and claws!

Bio:
On May 21 my mama realized that I had not been feeling well for a few days. All of my food tasted bad to me, even my favorite. So she took me to the hospital . Mama thought I just needed antiboitics. It turns out I had the same problem my little sister had. I had kitty lukemia. My mama did the only thing she could. She told the doctors it was ok to let me sleep. I know she misses me and I miss her too.
