The Rules
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write on their own diary about the seven things and the rules. Here are my seven facts:

1. I got my name cause when i was a kitten and my mom came to see me for the first time I hopped up on a can of peanuts on the table.

2. I am the first and last kitty my mom will ever get from a breeder, she only adopts now.

3. I hated my vet from the first day I met him. And i liked everybody. so cats must be better at assessing people then humans are.

4. I LOVED to go outside. i was the only kitty good enough to be allowed off leash since mom needed me to watch her turtles sometimes when they had play time.

5. I was the boss of our house. i was in charge of all the other cats, Rudy the bunny who is now my playmate at the bridge, the two mice mom had and the dog. Oh, and of course the humans.

6. I used to let my mom carry me around in a backpack to go to the stores sometimes.

7. I gave up my place to let 5 homeless kitties have it. And mom said not even all five of em together are as cool as I was...she needs to find my pic of me with my shades on.

Peanuts is no more

Peanuts died this past friday Nov 11, 2005 2 weeks short of his 15th birthday. He had a blood clot in his lungs and leaves behind 3 very sad kitty brothers and 1 doggie brother....

he died because of a negligent vet. i was not well informed enough to know just how badly lacking in care my cat was until it was too late.

there was no reason he should have allowed my cat to die from a treatable problem and go into a diabetic coma .

we no longer use that vet and even the new vet has commented on how incomplete the records/exams/etc were for a family of senior cats. at least the other three older boys have benefited from what happened to Peanuts.

My Surgery

Ths past monday i had to go to the vet (who i HATE) to have a lump removed. luckily it was only a fatty tumor but they shaved so much of my fur that with the stiches, i look like a football when i lay down! hopefully my fluff will grow in quickly since it embarassing you know...especially since they also shaved part of my neck!

I haveta say, last nite was the first nite i felt like myself! back to the usual routine of eating all of mom's papers, knocking down garbage pails in every room and making sure the dog and my three fellow felines know i am STILL king of the hill!
