Missy was adopted at the SPCA by her owner Leanne as a gift from her godfather (Uncle Gary). Leanne instantly made a connection with Missy right away. She said Missy stuck her little black paw between the cage and meowed to her. I ask her what color is the Kitty? Leanne said oh mommy it's sort of gray, no light brown, no light black. Ok, is she all one color or multiple colors? Leanne replied Missy is only one color. I went to pick Missy up from the shelter without Leanne but couldn't find gray, light brown or light black cat as she described. Then the lady gave us small all black cat. I ask the lady are you sure this is my daughter's kitty? Yup this is her. Oh boy I was surprised because Leanne said the kitty is not black. Growing up with superstitious family they have said black cat is evil. After having Missy for only 1 week with us we all fell in love with her personality and sweetness regardless of her color. Some one did tell me that you won't notice her color, it is the cat's personality that you will fall inlove with and yes this is so true.
