Arrival Story:
Saw people giving away kittens outside the mall, noticed a shy little guy who was smaller than his litter-mates, fell in love with him, and ended up with Maurice, the sweetest kitty you'll ever meet. Considering how small he used to be, he's grown up into a very big cat.
Bio:
VERY shy, but very loving once he gets used to you. He's always been nervous around new people, so you have to earn his trust before he'll let you near him. He loves it when his family rubs his belly and dangles string for him to play with. Ever since his brother, Darwin, joined the family, he's come out of his shell quit a bit. The two of them play together often, which has the added benefit of helping Maurice get in shape -- he's been getting pretty chubby over the years! Plus, Maurice was a little bit lonely after the family dog passed away, leaving him as the only pet, so he's happy to have some company again. Despite being an older cat, Maurice is still very healthy and robust, and people often comment that he looks much younger than he really is. Maurice has always been a healthy cat, though, so it's no surprise that he's aging gracefully. :)
