Oh kitties!

I just had to hop online and say how excited I am! My last two diary entries were a little bit of a call to arms, and the Catster community responded so fantastically that I can't even believe it! So many of you went and voted down that dog hater in the video game cover contest and today we checked in on Vern's auction, we can't believe it! Our catnip toys are all ready pulling in some really great bids!

We are so proud of you kitties! So much money is being raised right now for Vern, and we are so happy we are helping. Is it wrong that we feel bad though every time a friend gets out bid by another friend for the toys? Hehehe! I just wanted to thank all of you though for bidding in the auction and helping earn money for Vern! For anyone who hasn't seen it, here's the link to the facebook page. If you aren't on facebook but still want to help out the little guy, I think Finney and Lacey's mommy can help you out, or you can contact Vern's mommy directly!

Thanks so much for telling me about Vern! Mom donated a neck scarf (for cat) from her etsy store and is going to donate a collar and 2 bow ties too as soon as she can take the pics. (She didn't have to go to work today, so she made them already, but I am sleeping and don't want to model right now- hehe) Nobody has bid on the scarf yet! :( Come on! Please bid! My mom is paying for the shipping!

Oh don't worry Toki! Peoples will bid! hehehe! It took a day before we start getting bids then suddenly there was a rush, then is slowed down again. I think people visit in rushes! Some might also hold out till the last minute! The auction runs till May 10th so there's plenty of time, just make sure to spread the word to all your kitty friends about it! Also thanks for paying for the shipping! We are too! We think people will bid higher if they don't have to add on that extra shipping amount!

We like to believe that if anything bad ever happens to us, that we can count on the Catster community for a little help, so we always give when we can. You never know when you'll need some serious help yourself!

Hi Simone! We saw your pawsome toys at Vern's FB auction, looks like you are getting some great bids! Did you see that someone wanted to bid on me? MOL! Mommy says I am priceless, she wouldn't trade me for the world. The Catster community is purrty amazing when it comes to helping each other out.

I don't blame them for wanting to bid on your Luke! If I could, I'd get all my pennies together and bid on you! hehehe! Then I'd have TWO annoying brothers! hehehehe! At least you two could keep each other entertained and let a girl get some good belly sunning time in! We are pretty happy about the bids right now too! We were hoping to pull in somewhere around 40$ for Vern with the toys. We figured since it was to help out Vern that was a good estimate for charity bets! We're pleased that we did it so far! If we can get more, that will make it all the better!
