Arrival Story:
My sister lives in WA. I had been researching Singapuras and there is a breeder on Gig Island, not far from where she lives. We went to see them, and darling as they were, the breeder also had Abbys. Every time you were close to an Abby's cage, one would reach out and tap you on your head! Well, they were so full of personality they stole my heart away, and when I returned home, I called the local American Cat Fanciers' Association and got a referral of a Abyssinian breeder and Cookie and I have been happily together ever since. She is the sweetest kitty I have ever had. Even everyone at the Vet's is always delighted to see her because she is so sweet.

I have had kitties all of my adult life and I am a heart/lung organ transplant survivor. I had to find a home for my cat while I was waiting for my transplant and while I was hospitalized because I didn't know when I would get my call, if I would live until I would get the call or if I would make it through the surgery. I vowed that if I did I was going to treat myself to a breed cat and that is how I ended up with my little Sugar Cookie.
