PetFusion Ultimate Cat Scratcher Lounge (2026 Review)

When it comes to scratchers, your cat's individual preference is the determining factor. Some cats are horizontal scratchers, while others prefer vertical scratchers. But regardless of which kind your cats are partial to, quality is important. And PetFusion’s Ultimate Cat Scratcher Lounge is one of the best scratchers on the market.

Yes, cheaper scratchers will accomplish the same thing: giving your cat an opportunity to scratch. But they won't last as long, and they won't be sturdy enough to withstand vigorous scratching without moving around or tipping over.

Ultimate Cat Scratcher Lounge features

Made of recycled cardboard, with non-toxic corn starch glue, this scratcher is functional and beautiful. Generously sized at 34 x 10.5 x 10.5 inches, the scratcher is reversible, doubling its lifetime.

The quality cardboard construction will not only enhance your cat’s scratching experience, it means the scratcher will last longer and you’ll have fewer cardboard flakes all over your floors.

The scratcher comes with a 6 month warranty for any manufacturing defect or if you are not completely satisfied.

In addition to white, the Ultimate Scratcher Lounge also comes in brown and a gorgeous grey.

Allegra's take on the Cat Ultimate Scratcher Lounge

I wanted to surprise Allegra with a new scratcher, and the folks at PetFusion kindly sent us a white Ultimate Scratcher Lounge. It was an instant hit. I had barely put it in my office, and she was already on it, scratching away.

I love the beautiful design and the fact that I'm not constantly picking cardboard bits off the floor after one of Allegra's vigorous scratching sessions.

Beware of cheap “copycats”

Unfortunately, this quality scratcher has been copied by other cheap brands, and while the copies may look similar, they’re nowhere near the same premium quality as the real thing.
