Catster Readers Share Photos of Their Kitties in States of Repose

Is that cat sleeping or thinking? Or reading? There's another who looks rather minty.

The editors of Catster Magazine’s print edition are always on the lookout for great photos from readers. The ones below are among ones chosen for a Mailbag page in the January/February 2017 issue. The theme of the photos seems to be cats relaxing — something felines do well.

First up is Henry, whose humans say, “Henry loves reading Catster and play- ing his mouse game.”

Henry is all about reading and R&R.

Next up is Maxie. “My cat, Maxie, loves her condo,” says her person, Susan Louie

Maxie looks ready to play.

Third, we have a cat in a puzzling pose: “Is our little Pepper napping or thinking?” ask Dzilda and Andrzej.

Here’s Pepper, looking like a sculpture.

Finally we have a cat in a box of packing material — the color combination of which conjures an after-dinner mint.

“Casper loves to play in packing peanuts!” says Pamela Hennig

Mmmm, minty.
