Mom said that if "pill spitting" was an Olympic sport, then I would be going to the Summer Games. I told Mom not to call it "spitting". I am to refined and ladylike to spit. I launch the pills! Last night I was up in the hallway getting my pill and on the second attempt, launched one downstairs that landed on the piano. How 'bout that? It had distance and precision! Any competition from you other pill takers (and non-takers...mol!) ?

I'm doing okay otherwise. I am eating and drinking okay and liking fresh catnip. I demanded attention this evening. I needed my beautician to give me a good brushing and massage. I now look and feel wonderful. Percy even came over later and gave me a "tail hug", wrapping his tail over my back. He is goofy, yet lovable.

Gotta go warm up...it is almost time for my event!

Hello there!

I just got on the here for a bit tonight, through mom of course. I saw that you had a diary entry and wanted to say hi to you. Also I noted that you mentioned your "event", and wondered what that was about.

If it's a beauty contest, fuggetaboutit, you'll win it, paws down. Charm and poise? Oh yeah, you win again!

In any case, I am glad to hear you're doing well. My mom got frustrated trying to give me pills, so now she makes me a "sticky paw". She crushes the pills and adds something sticky or oily that I like to eat and puts the resulting paste on my paw. Naturally, I clean the stuff off my fur by licking, and ingest the meds. Weird huh?

We're lucky to have such good humans to take care of us. No matter how they get us to take our pills! Take care and be well, Mrs. Murphy. Love you :)

Well, I'd be disqualified before I was even out of the gate, because I won't even let them get the dang thing in my mouth to begin with - MOL!!!

I am also a champion pill spitter. I will do anything not to swallow pills and I'm a pretty strong girl. Good thing my asthma hasn't been a problem this year. MOL about pill spitting as an Olympic event. That would be a fun event!

Glad you're feeling well. That is very cute about the tail hug :)
