New toys!!!

Hello everyone.
A few days ago it was Rodney's birthday. We got chicken cake so it was really fun.
A few days ago, Mom and Dad brought a package in that we got. It was addressed to me and Rodney. Everyone was so excited because it was from Grandma and Papa. When we opened it There was a big stuffed duck toy that quacked and a new water bowl. I don't care for the duck but that bowl is cool. Its orange and shaped like a cat. It has eyes that bounce when you hit it and whiskers! I was so excited. I don't think Rodney knew what it was at first though because he kept swimming in it!

Oh well, he's still a baby!

Rain Rain go Away

Last night it rained here. I don't mind the rain its just the thunder and lightening that scare me. Luckily it was just rain. Mommy leaves a little crack in the window open so we can smell the rain. it comes through the screen and i love to try to get it. Last night Mommy and Daddy were working on a puzzle. i helped out too. every time they would reach for a piece i would get it first!:)

Dr Sabre...AGAIN!!!

Well Mommy was sick last week and Daddy was sick this weekend. Im getting pretty tired of people being sick. Sure, I get more cuddles and stuff, but there are so many Kleenex and tissues. AND!!! they went to the store to buy cold medicine and didn't bring me back anything. I was upset.
On the plus side there seem to be more flies in the apartment. Mommy and daddy are not happy but I am!!! I like to play with them.
I'm also losing weight. I just started the weight control food a week ago but ive already lost some of my girth. which is nice because its easier to wrestle with Rodney now. Daddy thinks its because im always chasing flies. Mommy is going to talk to the landlord again about the flies and then go get me a couple more toys. I had some but they broke when the neice was over. I don't like her. Last time she was here she broke my favourite ball and this time...well...we just dont know where they went. now we only have one ball and one mouse!!! i used to love that ball she broke. It was orange and had a bell in the middle. and had green feathers coming from two ends. oh how i loved it...

Dr Sabre

Mommy is sick today. She is all puky and sneezy and cough filled. She is so sick she couldn't go to school today!!!
I took care of her last night though. I layed all curled up by her chest and i was purring and rubbing my nose on her chin and i even kneaded her face with my paws. I think it helped!
Daddy is getting sick too. He was able to go to work today but he still felt ill. If he gets sick i'm gonna take care of him too.

I Caught a Fly

So today isn't going so bad. I caught a Fly and that was pretty exciting. Mommy and Daddy are complaining about the flies. There seem to be more and more each day. The landlord doesn't seem to care though. Neither do Rodney or I. We love to catch them and eat them. I always catch more though. He is just a little tyke though.
Yesterday mommy and daddy went to the store to buy me more food. They came back with WEIGHT CONTROL food!!!! It tastes the same but still.... i was offended. I only get a half a cup a day. I was used to a cup. Mommy says once i lose some weight i will get a little more. Daddy was wondering why i was getting so big so mommy and him did a steak out. They caught me eating my food and some of Rodney's food too!!! Thats why Rodney was always so hungry when they got home.

Easter Weekend

Easter weekend was so much fun!!!
On Thursday night my daddy's brother-in-law came over to watch the game. I don't really like him because he is loud but I was on my best behavior because I know mommy and daddy don't like it when i'm mean. Friday was really fun. A friend from out of town came to visit for a few days. I really like him because he always shares his food with me. It was a really fun night. They played guitar all night which i like. I got to sleep on the bed with mommy and daddy. It was kinda cold so i even snuggled under the covers.
Saturday was soooooo much fun because i got to spend the whole day with my family. It was a lazy sort of day. I didn't like when daddy pulled out the vacuum cleaner. Its fun to play with but it still kinda scares me!
Sunday was the big easter dinner. Mommy and daddy went to my grandparents house for supper but they brought me back some ham. Not too much though because i'm on a diet.
I woke up this morning only to find no food in my dish. I screamed and woke mommy up in a panic. She looked and it turned out some water and gotten into my food and it turned soggy. They have to go to the store tonight when daddy gets home and get some more. I was worried I wasn't going to get breakfast but mommy surprised me. I usually get 2 treats on friday morning but this morning me and Rodney got 3 treats each and a scrambled egg. I love scrambled eggs. Mommy said not to get used to it though:(
