So like me, everycat is waiting for the big news.
Cats don't do waiting very well, ya know!
I'm doing my waiting under the bed today!
You are right Mazie, think we are all waiting, wish they would just give us an update!
I am waiting in Moms closet, my safe place!
Keeping our paws crossed for good news soon
No kidding...we are on tenterhooks whatevfur those are, MOL!
I'm so worried. . . .
*flips tail anxiously*
waiting .... waiting ... waiting
When I'm waiting for Mom and she doesn't do what I want fast enough, I start meowing. Then I start to throw stuff down from the counter.
You think it would go faster if we all started meowing?
Waiting too! Hoping for pawsitive news!
They said 30 days and it seems like forever, so I checked the calendar today to see how long it has been and it's only been 2 weeks. :/
Napping all day while I wait. :)
I'm trying my darnedest to think positive, especially since I don't ever hide when frightened always trusting everything will be fine.
Hmmmph! Well, Miss Mazie,
Hello there. I can tell you-assure you-that things will be just fine.
A cats story:
One day, Miss M, a cat, took a walk outside her comfortable farmhouse, because her person had forgotten to feed her. 'This is terrible' she growled low to herself. 'Just terrible'.
To which, the lofty lean Tom cat that was orange in color grooming his paw in a tree replied 'You never know'. And at that moment, Miss M. saw her person coming down the lane, a large bag of food in her sack, Miss M's FAVORITE food.
'Ah' this is wonderful!' exclaimed Miss M, who rushed in to eat and daintily put away quite a bit of food. To which the Orange handsome Tomcat sitting on the porch eating some as well replied 'you never know'....
and at that moment Miss M. was blown outside through the door by a fierce wind giant.
'Oh, this is terrible' she growled and hissed. To which the Tomcat, who had also been picked up and was being carried along with her grinned 'you never know'. And at that moment Miss M was plopped into the middle of a field abloom with catnip.
'This is wonderful!' Miss M replied, to which the Tomcat, laying on his back chewing several pieces of catnip replied 'You never know'. and at that moment, several large cats came running across the field, and chased Miss M and the tomcat down the road, hissing and growling fiercely.
'This is terrible' exclaimed Miss M to which the Tomcat replied, panting 'You never know!' and at that moment Miss M careened into her living room, and saw that a feast had been prepared for her, and the door was being shut, just as the mischievous Tomcat slid across the floor in a series of turns and landed beside her, a dish being set for him. 'You never know' he mumbled, his head already beside hers.
'Tomcat, why is it, that through the fortune and misfortune your expression is much the same the Divine Miss M asked him, somewhat haughtily. To which the Tomcat replied...
'You never know...one misfortune opens the door to fortune, but if we see that really, the universe is a good place, and always on our side, we make our own fortune....for we shape our world, as cats, and our destiny.'
And so Miss Mazie, I hope you've enjoyed my tale-not my tail, leave that b if you know what's good for you-and I hope it's entertained you. Now off to tea-catnip of course-and a nap.
love you my dear.
Natalie the Natcat
Thank you, Natcat! your story makes our waiting easier to bear.
