As an addendum to the previous entry...

Tiger is back to his normal weight and acts as if nothing happended. We kept him inside for 1/2 a day before he had to go out and sit on the fence.

Missing

To all those who don't know: Tiger was missing since Wednesday morning 18/01/2006.

We have had 4 days over 35 and 2 days over 40 degrees. It has been hot here.

After a planned campaign of letter box drops, talking to neighbours, posters on poles and local shops - too many calls to the local council and RSPCA we had feared that the possibility that he had met his end was a high possibility.

In jest on Sunday I said to Lisa that "to get him back we need to pack his things away, at the bottom of the shed in the most hard to reach place". So she was in the progress of doing this and he returned to us Monday morning 9:00am.

He is skinnier, less 1 life (8 remain), hungry, thirsty, filthy and very very happy to see Lisa and be back with us.

Both Lisa and I are happy that he had the "extra resources" he needed to survive the past few hot days and are relieved beyond comparison.

In an irony - Lisa on Wednesday last week - the day he went missing she bought another bag of diet IAMS... for our now skinny cat.
