Arrival Story:
Fathead just kinda appeared one day in early 2006. He was very friendly--both my pet cats and feral colony took a liking to him immediately. I don't know if he was dumped or abandoned or simply lost his way from home. I don't even know how old he was because he showed up as an adult.

Bio:
I'm putting Fathead up here because it's been a year since he died (3/9/08). I miss him very much. I feel badly because I never wanted him to lay on my bed (he was always full of grass and dirt from outside), so I'd squirt him off with the spray bottle. I don't know what happened to him--he just got quiet and listless so suddenly, so we brought him inside...something was obviously wrong. He lived for a day and we tried to make him comfortable--he passed peacefully. I never officially claimed him as "my" cat, but I did after he left us. I'm just really grateful that he could die as a REAL housecat... Fathead was a super sweet kitty and is very much missed by all of us--kitties and humans alike.
