It seems that I have been tagged by Cole to participate in his meme.
The rules: Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write on their own blog about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and to read your blog.
Facts about ME:
1. I am not really a pure black cat, I am a black tabby and when the sun hits my fur you can see my stripes
2. I am extremely mushy and love to cuddle my family.
3. I sometimes tend to push my little brother and sister around because I am bigger then them.
4. I am always hungry!
5. I love to have my picture taken so if there is a camera I aways strike a pose.
6. I know that I have my mommy wrapped around my little paw so I take advantage of it.
7. I am a very lucky cat because I have a great family and really terrific friends.
Now I tag these 7 cats:
1. Pedro
2. Hilda
3. Kayleigh
4. Kassidy
5. Twixy
6. Willow
7. Pandora
Purrs and headbutts,

My husband and I were never really cat lovers and we always believed the myth that cats were too independent and all they were good for was to lay around and eat when they want to. We used to have alot of pets (no cats though) and one by one they passed away. It was very hard on me and our kids so my husband said that we would no longer be allowed to have anymore pets since we couldn't handle losing them. One day my husband called me and asked if he could bring home a baby kitten. I was shocked since he actually hated cats and he was the one who said no more pets. I questioned him as to why he would want a cat and he explained to me that there was this little black cat that his boss found living in the wheel well of a car they had at their transmission shop. He told me that the kitten was staying inside the shop and that he had been playing with it for a week. His boss could not keep the kitten there and was trying to find a home for it. I again said that he did not like cats so why would he even consider bringing this one home? He told me that this kitten was different from all other cats and that he just wanted me and the kids to meet it. If we did not like it he would bring it back to his boss and tell him he'd have to find him another home. At that point I agreed and that night he brought home this most adorable 8 week old kitten. Blackjack was one of the most amazing kittens I had ever seen. He was not only such a beautiful black cat, but he was very smart. From the day he was brought home he was using the litter box and never had an accident. That day we named him Blackjack and he immediately knew his name. He wasn't afraid of us either and climbed right up onto our laps to sleep or be cuddled. Blackjack totally changed all of our attitudes about cats. We trained Blackjack to come when he was called and to stand on his hind legs. At that point we decided that since he was more like a human child than an animal we would treat him like one. Blackjack was allowed to sleep on our beds at night and he even had a seat at the dinner table where everynight at dinner my husband and I would call out to the kids and Blackjack to tell them it is dinner time and to come to the table to eat. Blackjack has the best table manners. he always sits in his seat very nicely waiting for us to chop up what ever we were eating and give him a plateful. He loves to cuddle and be loved. He has the patience of a saint and allows us to dress him in different hats and ties and take pictures of him. My son calls him gumby because he will even hold any pose we put him in so we can take pictures. In my eyes Blackjack is not a cat but one of my children. He taught my husband to really love cats and eventually because of Blackjack my husband brought home a little brother and sister for Blackjack to have. Blackjack is still the most amazing cat I have ever met (besides his brother Floyd, we are still working with his little sister Jet to try and get her to be more like them). I am not sure what we did to deserve such a wonderful addition to our family, but we must have done something really good to have had Blackjack sent our way. I can't imagine our lives without him, and I would do anything for him. He is one of my children and in my eyes he is not an animal. To you Blackjack, thank you so much for being a part of our lives and for bringing us so much happiness you truly are a gift from god and I will always cherish and love you.
