Me? COTD? Really?

This morning when mom went to work her friend sent her an email to tell her that I was chosen for Cat of the Day!! Mommy called me right up and concatulated me!!! My brothers and I were all jumping around and laughing. This is the first time anybody in my family ever got COTD, so it is very special.
Then when mom came home she showed me each prezzie on my page! Wow! All my sweet friends sent me concatulations prezzies. I am so happy!! I have wonderful friends.
Its true Im still having problems with the UTI and still on medicine and probably have to go back to the, ugh, v-e-t, but that can wait. Today I feel great, I am so happy that I'm walking on air!
And my wonderful boyfriend Buddy Bolden was the very first to tell me how proud of me he was - he is so sweet! I have COTD and I have Buddy in my life, what more could a kitty ask for?

This is a very very special day. Im going to read all my messages again now and think of all my great friends. Id like to give every one of them big whisker kisses.

Phooey

Well I have another urinary tract infection. Big fat phooey. This time I have to take the same medicine for 3 whole weeks! I was so happy when it went away but now Im just all messed up again. Plus, as Im sure you other girl kitties know, it is very embarassing not making it to the litter box! The vet sold daddy a bag of special food that is supposed to help, but you know my brothers will scarf it anyway!

So Im just in a bad mood, Im tired of medicine, Im tired of peeing too much and everywhere, and all in all I need something good to happen to me. Im gonna call Buddy; he always cheers me right up.

So many things have changed!

A year ago my brother and I were feral wild-things outside our pawrents back porch. Our theme song was "Born to Be Wild" . But last fall we were adopted and in just one year, my goodness, how life has changed! I am now the princess of the house. I always get my way by being adorable and cuddly and purring really loud. I enjoy the food here and I now weigh 17 pounds! That's funny because in my litter I was the skinny one! Ha! I have a boyfriend, too, Mr. Buddy Bolden who is just the handsomest, nicest, sweetest, purrfectest kitty man in the world. Buddy and I both started out as ferals, just outside cats belonging to nobody, and now we both have wonderful loving homes and are loved and wanted more than imaginable. I really like my life here and so does my brother Orangie although he isnt as big a love-bug as I am, at least not physically. Anyway Im mad at both my brothers today because they called me Thunder-Thighs! Mommy said never mind, Im not fat Im fluffy.

Orangie Rescued Me!!!

Know what happened this morning? Mommy was putting things away upstairs before she came down to feed us. We usually wander down at all different times. Later she and daddy were at the kitchen table having coffee, and daddy said "I havent seen Creampuff yet this morning" but that was no big deal because I sometimes march to a different drummer. After awhile, maybe an hour, Orangie started to act disturbed. He was wandering through the house mewing repeatedly (sounded like a mama cat calling her kittens) and looking all over the house. Mommy said "He is calling Creampuff". When I didnt come he went right up to mommy and mewed at her to come follow him, which she did, because he made his point very clear . She said "Ok Orangie, lets go find Creampuff" and he led her upstairs to one of the closets, she opened the door, and, guess what! I was sitting there waiting for him to come rescue me! I knew he wouldn't forget me. My Orangie brother is my hero!!

Oh Happy Day!

Today I am the happiest kitty in the world becasue Buddy asked me to be his gifrlfriend and I said yes! I have been twitterpated over Buddy ever since we met and I've been waiting for him to notice me the same way. So imagine how happy I was when I found beautiful flowers and him asking me to be his girl! I asked both my brothers and they both approve because Buddy is a very nice kitty man and everyone in our family likes him. Now Chadwick and I have "significant others" in the same family, so I guess this means we might get to visit more. This is the happiest day in my life so far, right up there with the day I woke up and found out I was an adopted kitty with pawrents to love me!

I have to go call up all my kitty girlfriends and tell them the news.

I FINALLY GOT MY OWN PAGE

Now dont get me wrong, I love my brudder Orangie, but we had to share a page for all those months, and, well, as we have grown up we find our tastes are very different! He is such a boy!! You know how they are! But I am a lady, a girl through and through, so when my mommy said I could pick out a background for my page, I picked this lovely pink lace, and I picked songs that say just what I'm about. Being the only girl kitty in the house is fun. Orangie is very nice to me. Chadwick isn't but what do you expect from a big brother? I like it here, and I enjoy being me. I just love getting my own friends and invitations to my own groups. I feel so grown up! And there is this boy kitty I kind of have my eye on....oh my he is very handsome! I'll write more about him later.

Should we have separate pages? We want to know!!

Oh we are getting so brave. I, Orangie, play with the pawrents every night with their laser toy and with mommy's feathers. I even climb on mommy to get at them. I actually like being close to her and I talk to her. She says I am the most talkative of all her kids!! (mew) I am a very big and growing boy with a tiny little kitten voice. But I am letting myself be close to both of them as long as they play with me and listen to me. I might let them pet me in a day or two, but Im not rushing things.

I, Creampuff, rarely go downstairs, but I do like to play in the bedroom with the laser when the pawrents go to bed, I like to climb on the bed with them, claw at the quilt, chase their toes, and sometimes I even sleep at the foot of their bed just to keep their spirits up. I might let them start holding me again but I have not decided yet.

We moved out of the suite into the big house when they came home from vacation. Chadwick gets annoyed with us but he never hurts us only chases us, and we are faster so we dont care. Sometimes he forgets himself and plays with our toys with us. We like that.

Here is the question for all our friends: should mommy make separate pages for us? And if she does will you all become both of our friends and such? We have become such separate personalities, even though we adore each other and hang out together most of the time, that mommy is seriously considering constructing separate pages. We dont know how we feel about that - we've always been together after all. What does everyfur think?

Chadwick comes to visit

We have been talking with Mommy about exploring the rest of the house, and she said we had to see how we would get along with Chadwick first. So today Mommy and Daddy brought Chadwick up to our suite for a visit. He stayed a whole hour! At first he hissed and yelled at us, but we just stayed where we were and Creampuff tried to give her big brother a kiss, but he would hiss anyway. We were not scared one bit and we just stayed there and waited for him to chill out. He got the message that we are peaceful and went over to our dish and ate up our food!!! He stayed on the dresser looking out the window most of the time. He kind of ignored us. We told mommy that we dont mind if he ignores us, we can get along, so when can we go out in the big house? She said this week we will have at minimum 2 visits a day, one with daddy and Chad and one with mommy and Chad when she gets home from work, and if we can keep being as cool as we were today she is sure Chadwick will cool down too. If so.....maybe by the end of the week we can join the big house. There is a lot to explore out there! But mommy said "You cant go back outside kitties, from now on you live in here with us." We said "Ok" and we hope she understood us. Next time we put in an entry its gonna be about our expanded horizons and exploring this great big house!!!

I'VE BEEN TAGGED! WHAT FUN!!

My Furriend Greta Tagged Me!

I am supposed to list seven things about myself - thank you fur tagging me, Greta! Then I am to tag some other furriends. Let's see now.....

1. I was born in the engine compartment of an M37 Army truck, in my pawrents’ back yard, with 3 other siblings.

2. Mommy has brought me and Orangie inside because she said it is TOO COLD out there! The snow is 3 ½ feet in the back yard and I am just too short to see over it! At first I wanted to stay in my army truck and play in the snow, but then after she brought us in and made us cozy, with a heater and a soft bed and toys and stuff……I see that this is pretty good after all. We are living large in Kettle Falls!

3. I love my brother Orangie. I boss him around and he follows me. I am more friendly to humans than he is, but he will follow me. He is my very best friend and I think he is very handsome.

4. On December 7 I got spayed. That was a weird experience but Im a lady after all and I acted like a lady about the whole thing. Mommy said it is good because now I can stay a kitten and have fun and not have to grow up too soon like my own mommy did and have kittens. This way Orangie and I can be kittens a good long time and charge around on our thunder paws!

5. My favorite toy is a fishing pole with some feathers on the end. Mommy plays with me with it and I jump pretty high for such a fat little girl as I have become. I almost never get tired; it is so much fun.

6. I like to sleep on the big double bed because it is very soft.

7. I may be a feral, but I am a lady through and through! I only like to go to a very clean litter box, and I will wait by the box for mommy to clean it so I can have it the way I like it. I eat a whole lot, but always very daintily.
