Arrival Story:
I lost my other cat and wanted one to replace her. Of course, you can't ever really replace a pet, but Kee-a has more than filled the void. I saw her on petfinder.com and she was so cute, I decided to adopt her from L.I.F.E. Rescue in Agoura. She was 12 weeks old. Believe it or not, I didn't like her when I saw her. She didn't look like her picture, which was probably outdated, and since it was her first time at an adoption fair, she was very skittish and didn't like being held. I still wanted her though. I had already filled out all the paperwork and everything. I had all her stuff ready at home, so she came home with me and I don't regret my decision at all, even after 200 dollars worth of over-priced vet bills (all she had were ringworms).
Bio:
Kee-a turned out to be the cat I've always wanted. She's people-friendly, dog-friendly, cat-friendly. She seems to just love everyone and she begins to purr at the slightest touch. She'll even start purring when you talk to her. She grew that maine coon mane around her neck and her chest and I think she's so pretty. She's sweet, snuggly, cuddly and a whole lot of fun to watch. She entertains herself with her toys and she also invites you to play with her when she brings a ball over for you to toss. She actually fetches! She also comes when she's called and loves being petted while she kneads on your tummy or anything soft. She curls up on my lap and purrs while I'm on the computer. She jumps on my back to watch me feed my fish. She snuggles up on my shoulder or on my arm when we're sleeping. It's like having a stuffed animal. She lets me hug her and everything. She is an awesome cat, except when I try to clip her nails, then she turns into a feral wild child. So funny!
