Two years ago today Daddy brought me home as a foster. I made him adopt me 6 months later.

Two years.... wow, doesn't seem like that long. About as long as Sarge and Lena were here before me. We've come to an understanding and get along as well as can be expected. Daddy didn't plan on having 3 cats but sometimes life works out better than you planned.

If you've been reading Sarge's blog you'd know Daddy lost that one job but found another one. He's been there 15 full weeks now, longer than before. And he's closer to home.

I've taken to sleeping next to his pillow at night. I still hate to be held. Daddy set up half a cat carrier with a knitted scarf inside for padding for everyone to sleep in. But it's a trap! When I'm in there he tries to trip my claws! He usually gets one done before I squirm away. But it shows. When I made biscuits on him last time it didn't hurt!

Two years... two happy years.

Oh my catness, I thought my mommy was the only one who tried to clip my claws when I wasn't looking! It's so sneaky of them isn't it? Before mommy adopted me I was declawed on my front paws. It hurt so much and it made me defenseless when I was abandoned so now I guard the back claws like crazy. Mommy calls them dagger claws, they get so long she has to try to sneak clip them.
Congrats on your two year anniversary with your family! Sounds like a happy 2 years to me despite any hardships the family faces!
