OUCH!!

I know that I just meowed at ya... But I just had to let you in on what happened yesterday... I fell. I fell far. I fell far and hard. :(

Yep, you read it right.. Princess Kaci is not so graceful! In our apartment we have an upstairs loft. The loft has a railing that goes across to prevent humans from falling. Well, me being the daredevil that I am, I decided to use it as my own personal balance beam. I have attempted this in the past, but I always get yelled at and I end up retreating. Not yesterday! I didn't have my collar on so I was very quiet and sneaky... and I fell!! All the way from the top of the railing on the upstairs loft!! Did I fall on the soft couch?? Nope! I fell on the corner of the computer desk below! My mom tried to catch me, and she did help me avoid crashing my whole body on the desk, but she did not stop me from hitting the ground... My bum ended up getting scratched on the corner of the desk as I fell and my dad says that I'm probably gonna have a scar and a bruise there. On my princess bum?!?!? I am okay, for I am one tough kitty... But Mom was so scared!! My little piglet tail was twitching and I was wincing in pain. My called the vet and felt around on my little tail and bum... We think all is well, just gonna hurt for a while. :( Mom and Dad took me for a nice walk outside after I started acting like myself again. Mom even got me really close to a butterfly! I wanted to play so bad! It really did help to keep my mind off of my pain and silly mistake.

How did I not know about this??

Meows everycat!!

I just had to pounce in and let you in on something that I discovered yesterday.... One word.... DRAGONFLY....

So here's the story.... Mom, Dad, Ricky, and myself set off for a walk around the neighborhood yesterday. Mom of course carried me like a baby because I haven't mastered the walking part yet... I just stand and sniff... Anycat, it started off with normal things that I have seen... Cars, humans, dogs, etc... But then, out of the blue clear sky, I saw it... The most amazing thing that I have evfur seen!! I instantly went on high alert... My ears perked up, my eyes got sooo big, and I stretched way out over mom's shoulder... She knew that this was important so she stopped to let me investigate. There it was, the most beautiful thing that I had evfur seen. It was so fast, darting from side to side and up and down, and it was big enough that I could follow it easily. "What is that", I purred to Mom. She told me that it was a dragonfly. I wanted to play so badly!! I think it wanted to play with me too because it kept teasing me and taunting me.

Anycat, I just had to meow to you about it! I wanted to take it home with me but Mom saud that it wouldn't be happy stuck in an apartment.... I can't wait to get back outside and play again!!!

OMC!! What a busy month!!

It has been such a busy month for my little naked self!! I had 3 humans in my family graduate something!! Of course Mom took me on all of the adventures! ;) We had to go out of town for all of them, but not too far. Besides, I love car rides!! ;)

First my Aunt Mandy graduated college, then my Aunt Jeanne graduated junior high, and then my Uncle Steven graduated high school!!

What a crazy month!! I am so happy that Kyro and I found our island so I can relax!!

Meowing of Kyro, I just have to tell you that he is the best!! We have a grrreat relationship and truth be told, our pawrents even get along really well!! That's important, ya know? We both have silly daddies and amazing mommies!! They are so good to us, they type for us almost every single day!! Meows to you, ladies!!

P.S. Did I tell you that I wrote Kyro a poem? He hasn't read it yet, at least I don't think so, but I am sooo nervous!! What if he thinks that it is silly??

Life of THE Princess

Meows to all of my purr pals!!

Kaci here, live from Indianapolis, bringing you an up-to-date outlook on life through the eyes of THE Princess!! (That's me!)

First things first..... I am happy to report that I am no longer single. My heart belongs to Kyro. He was one of my very first purr pals and became my bestest friend very quickly. He always makes me laugh and he does a wonderful job purrtecting me!! He even painted me a purrtty pink office next to his at SDA!! Thanks, Kyro!! AND... Happy 7 month birthday today!! I hope you have a wonderpurr day filled with catnip and warm cuddles!! *purr*

Secondly..... I had to go to the vet yesterday. :( It was not so fun! The room was SO COLD! *shivering* Then, I had to get 2 shots!! As if being naked in a cold room in front of strangers wasn't enough!! *hiss* But, the doc said that I was happy and healthy! YAY!! They made a purrtty big deal about me there, I guess I'm what you'd call a "unique". *purrs* Anykitty, I have to go back in 3 weeks for more naked shots! *hiss* Maybe I can find REALLY good hiding place by then and Mom will have to cancel!! ;)

Catster Daily Diary Pick - Take 2

***RAWR***

*purr* I was a daily diary pick again!! That's 2 times in under a month!! How did I get to be so lucky?? *purr*

In honor of this special event, my mommy made a video for me. You can sniff it if ya want to. :) It shows me from a baby up until yesterday!!

Meowing of yesterday, it was SO BUSY!! Mom and Dad came home from work and I was supposed to get a bath, but Mommy pulled out this pink thing instead... It was my new harness. It's more comfy than most and I have a pink sparkle leash to match. I wasn't sure what was happening.... BUT I AM BRAVE.... so I went along with it. Mommy took me outside and set me right on the green stuff!! She said it was grass, but it didn't feel like it was made for a princess like myself. I held very still at first but, between us purr pals, I actually liked it.

After the grass, we loaded up into the car... I have heard that most kitties don't like it, but I LOVE IT! Me and my brother played and I slept until we arrived. It was SO LOUD!! My mommy said that we were there to watch my Aunt Jeanne play softball. I was so good and everybody made a big deal about me and my brother, it was really fun.

Well, my paws are tired from typing so much so I'll meow at ya later!!
